What does it take to create the Best Booth at ARCH 2026?

For Sini Main-Main, the answer began in Bali.

Inspired by Sofara Mosaic’s philosophy, The Art of Becoming, this installation brought together Balinese artists, artisans, designers, and makers in a creative journey that unfolded long before the exhibition opened. From handwoven elements crafted in Bali to the details that shaped the final experience, every piece carried its own story.

The result was Sini Main-Main—an immersive space that earned recognition as the Best Booth at ARCH 2026 and invited thousands of visitors to explore the people, process, and craftsmanship behind it.

At ARCH:ID 2026, Sofara, a new marble mosaic collection by Singres Tiles, presented a new way of experiencing marble. Through the installation “Sini Main-Main / Let’s Play”, marble was explored not only as a material, but as a medium for movement, discovery, and spatial storytelling.

Conceived by EDAHaus and inspired by the silhouette of marble mountains, the booth was designed by Studio S.OH into a layered architectural journey. Visitors moved through five formations representing water, fire, air, earth, and the body itself, experiencing changing scales of space through walking, bending, and exploration.

The installation was further enriched by woven bamboo craftsmanship from Nano Uhero, immersive surfaces by Colours of Chroma, and atmospheric lighting by Hilios, creating a sensory landscape that continuously unfolded from one space to another.

The experience came alive through a contemporary dance performance by Topan, whose movements activated the architecture and transformed the installation into a living stage. Guiding visitors through the narrative was Arleta, whose storytelling gave voice to the ideas, materials, and collaborations behind the project. Together, architecture, design, art, performance, craftsmanship, lighting, and material innovation merged into a single experience.

As part of Singres Tiles, Sofara reflects an ongoing exploration of marble beyond its conventional monolithic form. Through mosaic craftsmanship, marble becomes more adaptable, expressive, and capable of creating new spatial possibilities.

More than a booth, Sini Main-Main became a reflection of ARCH:ID 2026’s theme, Skema Sintesa—a celebration of dialogue and collaboration across disciplines. This collective effort ultimately brought home the Best Booth Award at ARCH:ID 2026.

Sini Main-Main, over four days at ARCH:ID 2026.
