“Kiss Me.”❤️ The Marriage Edit ✍️ is available on Amazon.

It began with the simplest of moments

My husband coming home.

Just before 6pm.

Sometimes carrying flowers.

Sometimes groceries.

Sometimes nothing but that familiar smile.

An arm around my back.

And two words whispered in my ear:

“Kiss me.”

Those words made me think about the strange and beautiful way God works in marriage.

How the person we thought we wanted isn’t always the person He gives us.

How the qualities we once overlooked can become the qualities we treasure most.

How our spouse can be different from our expectations and yet perfectly suited to the life God is building with us.

And how, sometimes, we don’t need a different marriage.

We need to see the one we have differently.

If you’re married… engaged or preparing for marriage…

If you love someone who is wonderfully different from you…

I wrote this book for you.

Tonight, when your husband or wife walks through the door…

Go to them.

Reach for them.

And maybe whisper:

“Kiss me.” ❤️
