Садик при местной церкви. Начиная с весны служители церкви заботливо ухаживают за растениями и деревьями. Очень приятно наблюдать. Потом собирают яблоки и выставляют для всех желающих в ведрах на улице.

А garden attached to the local church. Since spring, the church staff have been looking after the plants and trees with great care. It’s lovely to see. They then pick the apples and put them out in buckets on the street for anyone to help themselves. by @s.u.inessa

Westfallenpark Дортмунд. Продолжение прогулки.Трудно перечислить все,что тут находится. И Розарий, и канатная и железная дорога и пруды с ценными породами рыб
Вот я нашла такую скульптуру.....

К последним относится «Основание жизни» — деревянная скульптура, созданная Миле Прерад. Скульптура вырезана из дуба, поваленного молнией, и стоит на железных колесах . Высота 5 метров.
Автор Зауэрланд в Дортмунд и кропотливо вырезал в Вестфаленпарке. Начав с изображения пары иммигрантов в натуральную величину, он вырезал большую группу людей, разбросанных вокруг ствола дерева. . Художник хотел «выразить проблемы, связанные с гастарбайтерами». В этой теме Прерад опирался на собственную биографию, поскольку его отец приехал в Германию в качестве гаcтойбартера

Westfallenpark, Dortmund. Continuing the walk. It’s hard to list everything that’s here. There’s the rose garden, the cable car, the railway and the ponds with rare species of fish.
Look, I’ve found this sculpture… what could it mean?
‘The Foundation of Life’ — a wooden sculpture created by Mile Prehrad. The sculpture is carved from an oak tree felled by lightning and stands on iron wheels. It is 5 metres high.
The artist, Sauerland, based in Dortmundpainstakingly carved it in Westfalenpark. Starting with a life-size depiction of a couple of immigrants, he carved a large group of people scattered around the tree trunk. The artist wanted to ‘express the problems associated with migrant workers’. In exploring this theme, Prerad drew on his own life story, as his father had come to Germany as a migrant worker by @s.u.inessa

Собор Святого Павла в Мюнстере — это третий по счёту собор Мюнстерского епископства. Возведение первого собора, известного как собор Святого Людгера, началось в 805 году.
В соборе находится знаменитый астрономический часы (Astronomische Uhr), созданные в XVI веке. Это настоящий средневековый «компьютер»: часы показывают не только время, но и астрономические данные, фазы Луны и календарную информацию.
🪐 Особенно интересно, что часы показывают движение планет и связаны с календарём. Их механизм неоднократно ремонтировали и совершенствовали.
Собор находится на площади Домплац и наряду с исторической ратушей является одним из самых значительных памятников архитектуры исторического центра города и его символом.

St. Paul’s Cathedral in Münster is the third cathedral of the Diocese of Münster. Construction of the first cathedral, known as St. Ludger’s Cathedral, began in 805.
The cathedral houses the famous astronomical clock (Astronomische Uhr), built in the 16th century. It is a true medieval “computer”: the clock displays not only the time but also astronomical data, the phases of the moon, and calendar information.
🪐 It is particularly interesting that the clock displays the movement of the planets and is linked to the calendar. Its mechanism has been repaired and improved numerous times.
The cathedral is located on Domplatz and, along with the historic town hall, is one of the most significant architectural landmarks in the city’s historic center and a symbol of the city. by @s.u.inessa
