Dankie, @thesobering. You big brothers are an inspiration. When I discovered your podcast, I started learning more about local artists instead of only idolizing international ones. When I met my friend @s0so_lut at varsity in 2023, he emphasized why it’s important to support local artists and their music. Since then, I’ve never looked back.

I balanced my consumption even more and gave local music more of an ear than ever. So when I met you, @ke_kitso_bafethu and big_warra, I saw heroes who champion the same thing my brother Sonwabile does. Later, I met @fratpacker at the panel discussion alongside @rash_ferguson, @magleradoeboy, & @hakesy_vet_ket, where I covered the whole discussion.

Dankie to my brother, @s0so_lut, for always introducing me to wonderful souls. You know what we said at the beginning of KAAPcast Media: we shine a light on the creatives in Cape Town, South Africa, and beyond. And today we did that.

In our fourth episode, we spoke with @_gkhumalo, a great guy from Scotland, about finding his roots by travelling to Namibia, Cape Town, and back. He has something to say through filming, which has inspired him to dig deeper into his roots as a Scotland-born man with Namibian and Gambian blood, such an inspiring story; I can't wait for this episode.

Another one on the same day; we got my Bru! @enso_florrice from Alex, JHB with the fine arts and a crazy philosophical story to share. 😂 This guy is a thinker! I see me in him. I can't wait for this episode as well.
