Tx2k Recap

With the hard work of the entire crew we were able to get Fabri’s car running with the new billet block and trans setup for the event. The car managed to scatter the th400 first hit, and after getting it rebuilt the torque converter bolts broke and shot the spacers out like a grenade.

Met a lot of awesome people and got to see some familiar faces. Saw some awesome builds and fast fucking cars. Thank you to everyone who gave us a hand with the cars, setting up, and also those who kept us company taken in Texas Motorplex by @s2k24miata

Never got around to making a proper post of when i wired my car for the @emtronworld KV8.

This being my first wiring harness built from scratch, there are many small mistakes or things i would change if i did it again, but i think it came out great and has been serving me well. The milspec bulkhead is also very convenient.

Cold side of the turbo kit done! Next thing on the list is welding in the cage.

My biggest challenge was figuring out how to remotely mount the throttle body. It is very common for the K series to kill the tps in bosch dbw throttle bodies (ive had issues myself) due to vibration. Im happy with the solution i came up with, and think it looks pretty sick too! by @s2k24miata

My first ever turbo manifold is complete. I had two main goals for the design. Clearance for a 3 inch downpipe, and good wastegate priority. It seems that both of those boxes are checked, and overall welds and fitment came out pretty good.

Its only the first step in making some power, but a big ticket item for sure. I cant wait to see how it performs by @s2k24miata

Halfway through the last @rivercitydrift event my shifter started puking trans fluid 🫠

The stock T56 Magnum shifter is deisgned very poorly, with only a rubber boot (with no clamp) to stop oil from escaping.

Got a @tickperformance shifter, along with the baffle and bronze shifter cup to fix leaks, and also eliminate the need for silicone when installing the shifter. by @s2k24miata

I was never proud of the old crossmember i made for the s2000 trans setup. Feels good to replace it with something i can proudly say i built. Luckily driveline angles didnt change at all, so the diff remains untouched. by @s2k24miata
