#REPOST @khethimlangeni with @get__repost__app Happy World Bicycle Day 🚴🏾‍♀️
Looking forward to pedaling further outdoors & on Zwift with you 👊🏽🧡. Remember that winter is only 12 weeks short. It’s cold only if you’re standing still or wearing the incorrect clothes😁.

Here’s to some champagne showers 🍾

A truly memorable moment for me, not necessarily due to any sort of result (that was a bonus) but lessons learned, and experience gained. Of course it was an awesome feeling standing on the podium, with my teammate and it being my first podium in SA which I actually couldn’t believe, considering I’ve had the privilege in EU a couple times already. I’ll give my new coach a Hi🤚 for that!! Getting me further in 4months than I’ve been in the last 2yrs. Change is good 🌈

Although we don’t realize it at times, it just goes to show how important it is to have people around you who truly believe in your capabilities. Whether that be friends, family, coach, etc. When you have that kind of support system, you become unstoppable. When you have teamies who believe in you you can achieve your wildest dreams, and make no mistake, it’s a two way street. I’m not where I want to be yet - it’s been a roller coaster ride of note - but I’ll be the best I’ve ever been - patience.

So here’s to champagne showers in the @teamreachforrainbows Jersey - thanks for believing in me 🌈

Coetzenburg Mountain Stellenbosch

I was so excited for today’s XCO SA Cup.
Excitement started building up last night while I was packing and getting everything ready for the big race.
My first race on my new bike 🤩 !!

On our way to Stellenbosch 6am this morning we got the terrible news that the races for nippers, sprogs, sub juniors (my race), juniors and masters was cancelled due to extreme weather conditions (strong winds).
Hard to believe unless you were there, but the wind was gusty and not safe for riders to go up. So by 9am the difficult decision was made to cancel the entire event.

My heart goes out to all riders from all over the country and Nambia who couldn’t race as well as all the organizers. So much work, effort, money and time went into this.

Sad day, but the right decision to our riders safety!

I’m all for living a long, healthy, happy life 🥬 🥑 🍌. Over the years I’ve learned that you tend to eat healthier if you keep healthy ingredients in your kitchen. This smoothie was inspired by just that, random ingredients from the kitchen. #Kale #Avocado #Celery #Banana #LowFatMilk #ProteinPowder #IceCubes
Shoutout to Nandi’s baby bullet 😁 👊🏽.
