sexy back — AF attack for @kiouxena

hello hi I couldnt pass up the opportunity to use this song 😝😝 had a lot of fun with this one hehshehs I struggled so much with the back honestly had no clue what i was doing 😭🙏🏻 the speedpaint is literally so embarrassing 😭😭😭😭

anyway i hated the initial composition, I literally said my goal was try to compose my pieces better but why do I keep shying away from it 💔 the reformatting probably took another solid hour but it was worth it 😔🙏🏻

I feel like his face still looks too feminine though 🫩🫩

I'm so burnt out alr so this is probably the last one for july 😪

this was actually my 2nd attack, after weeks of staring at it I feel like it looks unfinished and its probably because I couldnt do the classroom background I was initially planning euggh I still feel bad about this 😭😭😭😭 but i really like how the chibi came out hehe he's so tiny and squishable 🤏🏻🤏🏻

蛇 — AF attack for @angui_nero

ᡣ𐭩ִ ₊˚✰
6h 57min

really really surprised myself with this one 😭 at first i couldn't figure out the lighting (if it should come from the snake or some other source) and hadn't planned out the background so I kinda avoided rendering this piece for a bit 😭😭😭 but I'm really glad I pushed through because this ended up becoming one of my favourite attacks!! 😆

I also really wanted to try rendering above the lighting and linework layers because I always relied too much on the blend modes to do the heavy lifting in colour correction 😭 but ended up only rendering the hair that way 🫩

I think you can see in the timelapse when exactly I locked in 💀💀

took SO LONG on this one help 😭😭 this was like a high effort render because I wanted to spoil my mootie but I got spoiled by xian instead 😭😭😭

had a lot of fun with this one hehe, I really liked how it was going when I was sketching but somehow I feel after the full render it looks kinda underwhelming???? but at that point I already spent too long on this 😭😭🙏🏻 I wanted to do a sharp minimalist magazine style but I feel like looks kinda plain 😭😭😭 either way, I'm happy with it and am kinda surprised I managed to pull this off 🙏🏻

also I wanted to find an 80s song for this post but I couldnt find one that matched the vibe so 💔💔

I was struggling quite a bit with this one trying to pick colours for the characters and the lighting 😭😭 wasn't really used to working with lots of muted colours so I didn't have the slightest clue what I was doing with the shading 😭😭😭 I think it still came out pretty cool so yayy 🕺🏻

really liked how the lighting came out with this one! played around with the colours a lot more especially on her hair! tried to speed up my process too and it helped to stop fixating on small details 😭🙏🏻

moonlit keys

ᡣ𐭩ִ ₊˚✰
strangely I dont have much to say about this piece 🧍🏻‍♀️ but I was so locked in I finished it earlier than I'd expected 🙏🏻🙏🏻 here is xichen floating in the sky playing the keys of an imaginary magic piano 😛

now that I think about it her hair is less green than I'd like but I think its just the lighting 😭😇

also does anyone still use oc tags because I cannot for the life of me figure out why my posts don't show up on #s4ezyoc anymore 🫩

thank you for reading!!! 🫶🏻

omgah im so happy with this one 🥹🙏🏻 took me a while (and a lot of struggle) but I'm so glad it turned out exactly how I'd envisioned it 🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻

xichen is quite literally me every minute of the day 😇 i still cant figure out how i should render her jade pendant but thats for another time 😛 and I only just realised I forgot her hamster hair clip UGHHH 💔

anyway I hope this piece captures each of their personalities!! from left to right, my ocs: yoka, aera and xichen 🧚🏻‍♀️

thank you for reading!!!!
