I lost a tooth this month 😖

It was an avoidable loss, but I failed to salvage it.

A bone got stuck in my tooth in the month of May, I went to the dentist almost immediately, he removed it and diagnosed a cavity but couldn't fill it due to a bacterial infection, asked me to treat it for two weeks and come back.

I came back and the hospital did not have filling material so I waited for 2 months plus 😭

I went elsewhere with the hopes of having it filled, due to the discomfort I was feeling, but the dentist I met gave me two options, an extraction or root canal, you know my choice.

One thing I have learned from this experience is if you feel like you're not getting the right treatment, switch hospitals!

I always dreaded having less than 32 teeth but a friend of mine said to me "like the fig tree, whatever isn't serving purpose has to go out of the way" unfortunately it was a tooth.

If you're bold enough, swipe right for my beautiful molar that no longer lives in my mouth 😅

I promised myself and some friends I was going to post soon. I'm glad soon came today.

It's been one hell of a ride but here am I, smiling and trusting that what's ahead is better than what I left behind 😊
