I was stubborn and nearly didn’t go. But thanks to @choppernerd503 for getting me a motor the night before. I swapped my shovelhead out for an evo with a little extra patience and fabrication and headed out with my road dawgs of the @trippers_69 Chopper Club early in the morning from Oregon to Sturgis and finally knock that run off the bucket list.

42 hours of no sleep, riding all day through smoke filled skies, no tent, plenty of beer a NEW man was finally rested up by dawn on day twoish. (Hope ya have a good laugh, I sure do everytime.)

We found camp each night exhausted, unrested, sunburnt, overheating bikes breaking down, blowin smoke, burning condensers, coils, and still purring through out. After a couple motor changes, blown head gaskets, flat tires, melted ignition modules we made it to and from Sturgis on the bikes we built. 3000 miles never felt so challenging and rewarding at each turn.

I can’t wait to see what was captured through @willcorwin @ex_litore ‘s experience documenting our journey through his lens riding next to us ripping down these new roads, until then it’s just a memory burned into my head like the rubber ingrained into the road . TRIPPERS The Movie 3 coming soon!

Big thanks to all the new friends and familiar faces we met along the way, Bike Warz, to all the boys for bump starting me and whatever bit my face to give me and y’all a good laugh. Until next time the road ends and the gavel begins!

The pressure and difficulty to find a rad camp spot for the night gets set higher and higher each year. Many forestry roads are gated and locked or are private property. No campgounds. No hotels. Just gravel roads off the beaten trail. Each spot is unique and holds great memories for the night. @trippers_69 by @s_naka

Finally out of show Jail! @the1moto was a blast yet again. I am pretty happy with No Name v3.0 nothing like having less than 45 day deadline to help motivate a build, rebuild parts, fab parts, mold the frame and paint a bike. One day i’ll take my time, until then let’s ride these old mile munching machines down until they need to be rebuilt again. Catch you on the road! CHOPPERS ONLY.

Rip and Trip 2024. We never expect half the things we have to fix on the road a broken shifter gear was one. Thankfully @flesh_tombstone came prepared and brought an extra lid to save the rest of the trip for me.
