Sometimes somebody comes into your life and reminds you of the version of yourself you thought you lost. And suddenly the poet who always has something to say is stuck asking…“How do I say it?”

Filmed this in my bro Samod’s art studio, surrounded by work that deserves its own moment. And that moment is coming. His upcoming exhibition, “It’s About Time,” opens Friday, November 6th at 6 PM, and I’ll be hosting opening night! SN: Come spend an evening with us, experience his work, and show my brother some love. It’s about time. 🕰️

I promise I push myself daily to be better than I was yesterday. A better Artist. A better Father. A better Person in general. The grind ain’t always pretty, but my drive is different, and my will is stronger than my excuses. Nobody can want it for you more than you want it for yourself. 💯🎨 #ItsAboutTime ⏰ by @sa.mod_

Another YES. 🙏🏾🎨

I’m grateful to share that I’ve been selected for the Creative Impact Cohort through the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County. 🙏🏾🎨

A lot has already gone into bringing this vision to life, so receiving this support means a lot. I’m thankful for the opportunity, the trust, and everybody who has continued to support the journey.

“The Weight of History.” 🇺🇸

This piece is about strength, identity, pride, pain, and the weight that can come with being connected to a past that still shapes the present.
