Shades Day is almost here. On the 16th of October 2026, we’re calling on you to buy a R20 sticker, wear your shades and show your support🕶️😎

We’re busting some common myths about protecting our eyes and vision this Shades Day. 👀🕶️

We’ve partnered with ophthalmologist and Sunbuddies founder, Dr Claire Cullen, to separate fact from fiction and help you understand what really keeps your eyes healthy.

Through Sunbuddies, Dr Cullen also generously supports the fundraising work of the SA Guide-Dogs Association, making this partnership especially meaningful to us. 💙

😎Stickers available at Spar, Petstorey, Big Blue, PetWorld. Digital stickers available on our website.

Welcome to the SA Guide Dogs Association Puppy Block 🐶🐾

[Video description: Jade, wearing blue scrubs, takes us on a tour of the Puppy Block Centre at the South African Guide-Dogs Association’s main campus in Johannesburg.

She shows us the different whelping areas, where puppies and their mothers are cared for. We see litters of puppies at different stages of development, including black and yellow puppies feeding with their mother, Bellini, and an older litter spending time outdoors.

The tour also highlights the small details and careful routines that help keep the centre running smoothly and ensure the puppies receive the care they need.]
