Threats evolve. How does a radar keep pace?

For Giraffe AMB D, the ability to evolve is part of the design.

Building on more than two decades of operational experience with Giraffe AMB, it combines a new AESA radar array with a modern software architecture. Continuous software upgrades enable it to adapt to changing operational requirements.

One system. Multiple missions. Critical timing.

Whether protecting important infrastructure, supporting manoeuvre forces, or countering aerial threats on land and at sea, Trackfire Remote Weapon Station gives operators the tools to detect, track and engage rapidly evolving threats with advanced target tracking, continuous laser ranging and predictive ballistic solutions.

Combined with remote operation from a protected position, Trackfire Remote Weapon Station provides the capability needed when seconds make the difference. by @saab

Additive welding works the way a 3D printer does: material goes down in layers until the shape exists. The difference is the material is molten metal and the printer is a collaborative robot working inside the hull of an A26 submarine.

Our Karlskrona shipyard put a COBOT to work in the hard-to-reach parts of the build — the places where a human welder would be wedged in for hours. It has saved 400 work hours, 190 kilograms of filler material and 1.5 tonnes of CO2 emissions.

An A26 weighs around 2,000 tonnes and is assembled from hundreds of thousands of parts. On a build that size, every minute and every kilogram matters. by @saab

Understanding what is happening in the airspace starts with having the right information.

Giraffe 1X provides a continuously updated picture of the airspace, detecting, tracking of multiple targets - including small UAVs in challenging environments.

Its compact design means it can go where it is needed, whether deployed on a vehicle, at a fixed site or as part of a wider air defence ecosystem. by @saab

The future of air combat is not just about a single aircraft – it's about a seamless system of systems.

We are proud to present our concept for a future Unmanned Fighter System. Building on Swedish aviation heritage, this platform is designed to operate in tandem with manned aircraft, ensuring maximum flexibility and safety in the most contested environments.

Designed for multi-domain operations and cooperation across the air, land, maritime, space, and cyber domains. by @saab
