Special delivery: one knuckle sandwich I’ve officially made one my childhood dreams come true. I finally made a pair of large hands of my own 👊🏽 With that being said, my time at NCC as 2025 BIPOC resident artist @northernclaycenter is coming to an end. As I pack my studio once again. I am reminded of how much can change in a year. I am leaving with new work, new connections, and a heart full of gratitude. Looking back, so much has happened over the past few years I’ve had the privilege of participating in residencies, exhibiting my work, and meeting incredible artists along the way. The blessings I’ve been given are never lost on me. 🤍 and here’s a little #wip. Cheers ~ by @saalsaied

My favorite gemstone is Amber and I love these pools of amber worlds. I would definitely live there! #bakedinsoda by @saalsaied
10 years ago, I took my first clay class and since, I’ve never looked back. So many pictures I could share and so many words I could say, but I’m keeping it sweet and short. These past 10 years have been nothing short of amazing. I am beyond grateful to cross paths, share space, create, teach and learn from so many, mentors, friends, studio mates, coworkers, strangers and all. Looking back on this decade, i realize I’ve created a lot of art but nowhere near as much as I want to. I am JUST getting started. Life of an artist isn’t easy, but it’s nevertheless a privilege. I’m thankful i get to do it and I wouldn’t change it for anything. Keep treading 👊🏽🤍 by @saalsaied
