I’m different when I am in the mountains. We were here shooting and recording for something special, something I’ve always wanted to do and share. (announcing soon)

Hoor has been getting a lot of love from so many of you that I had to put up this little acoustic version as a mark of gratitude. While you listen to me singing Hoor in my natural habitat, don’t forget to stay tuned for what’s coming next. 🏔️🌸✨🦋

Thank you for trusting me on this, it became the start of saani and something very special. Everyone has given this so much love.

Wow. Acoustic versions are ALIVE!

A big hug to @dhruv_1704 @dhananjay_dogra @mixbymukul for their roles in making this happen.

saani, for Jalpari by @faheemabdullahworld @huzaifnazar @ratherhashim_ @tseries.official @hyderdar_

I remember listening to Faheem sing this for me at my home a year ago when we first met, on the piano. We kept that innocent feel alive at this scale. Starts with mellow piano, goes into full blown rock where I blend into the mix.

Many more to come with this gang. Thank you for having me

Jalpari is out now 🤍🖤 by @saaniwrld

'Make You Love Me' is about wanting to build a bridge but knowing you have to have a boundary, feeling the weight of wishing you could just talk.. While accepting that someone won't care more than they already do.

Written, Composed and performed by Akhil Sahni @akhilsahnimusic

Mixed and Mastered by Mukul Jain @mixbymukul at @ferriswheelstudios

Chords and tabs coming soon on YouTube

saani (ثانی) means second, equal, or counterpart in Urdu. This is a step forward in me honouring the instrument that gave me purpose. I felt like superman as a kid when I sat on that chair, this is for him. This IP is my equal half, my blank canvas.

I never thought I’d sing or write lyrics, but one thing led to another and I started releasing English music under Akhil Sahni. This lets me explore instrumental music, scoring, music therapy, cross cultural collaborations without thinking twice. Think piano? Think saani.

The making of Ehsaas (acoustic) with @faheemabdullahworld ! 🤍

Nearly half a million views on our video and so much love pouring in for this version. Decided to release a little vlog of what a day in the studio as a pianist/arranger looks like.
