Building My Dream Salon
Episode 1: The People Behind The Vision 👷‍♀️😇

Building my dream salon has been so much more than picking out pretty colors furniture and finishes

Every person I’ve brought into this project was chosen intentionally from finding the space to my interior designer to my contractor

And when I found out what Reggie was doing in his community I knew I wanted him to be apart of this

He mentors and employs young men ages 17-22 giving them an opportunity to learn trade work with their hands and create a different future for themselves

So yes we’re building a beautiful salon but also we are building something bigger

Think you have a almond eye shape well let’s seeee 🥰😇⬇️

So my client here has almond shaped eyes and one of the easiest ways to tell is that you don’t really see a lot of the white around her iris because it’s slightly covered by both the top and bottom lids

She is also slightly hooded which just means there’s a little extra skin over the crease when her eyes are open

And if you look closely her outer corners lift just a bit giving her that soft upturned look That’s exactly why I chose a soft winged almost cat eye lash map for her I started shorter in the inner corners and gradually went longer toward the outer corners to really complement her eye shape
