Some thoughts and sketches 💭

When someone said 'you're so talented' I always thought *There is no magical thing called talent that draws for me. I wish...*

My practice got me here. The inner voice I battle with and that critizes everything I do.

Now I understand this voice is actually spitting facts ~You can do better. Practice more. Do another one.~

This inner voice is so determined to push me. It sees my potential and makes me grow. That's the real talent.

Its not about good or bad. Determination and vision is what makes me do more, learn more, climb higher. So I wanna keep the art that I doubted. It shows my journey, my struggles, my strength.

I realized I had to become friends with my inner critique, because it's the most talented, determined part of me. 🌸

A piece I did for my patreon back in '22. I wanted to revisit this so badly and work on it again with a better understanding of composition, lighting and color.

At the same time my art is like a time capsule that shows my progression and intuition at the time. Somehow the colors remind me of Wicked now. So I'll leave it - for good.
