Finally sharing some photos from my most recent piece, What Does Happiness Look Like, draft #1. I started this with Cara way back in January, and am so grateful to @creativeperformances for making this piece a part of HOT! Dance, celebrating queer voices. It was an absolute blast creating with @cara.marguerite @carlymartin_1 and @sonja.movement . Thank you for all the authenticity and joy you brought to this work! And of course thank you to @angelinapellini for coming in at the last second to make it all look moody :)

💫 Meet the C(HORIO) Cohort of Choreographers: Sabina Fritz

@sabinaefritz ‘s piece titled “What Does Happiness Look Like” is a reflection on how images and stories of romance shape our personal journeys, and the way personal movement towards our own feeling of ‘natural’ can open up new pathways to happiness.

At the end of April I got to perform with friends from so many parts of my life in the sun and the grass in San Diego. And teach a workshop at UCSD. How lucky am I to get paid for this?! Thank you @movementartivist and @sadiecameron for offering the space to come back and teach. Thank you @gfranciscooo for bringing me out, and @ryanjames__ @laurenn.lee @lizfieldss for making such the transition from zoom to in person so easy! by @sabinaefritz
