During Amsterdam Fashion Week, I had the honour of walking for @tjeerdmarie. Their runway debut. And simultaneously, mine. An absolute pinch-me moment!!

Employee of the Month is a multidisciplinary performance exploring the impact of modern-day work pressure on our lives. The pressure to perform, to keep going, to always “be fine”, even when we’re not.

Work pressure, translated into art.

Thank you to everyone who made this experience so special. And especially to David and Isa for creating such a powerful piece and trusting me to be part of it. I feel incredibly grateful 🙏🏼

In June, I decided to book a ticket to Thailand for July. Because: why not?

I’ve always had a soft spot for Asia: the people, their pace of life, the culture, the climate, the food, the surroundings. Being there somehow always feels a little bit like coming home. So it definitely didn’t hurt that one of my good friends lives in Phuket for part of the year.

After a few rough months (hello, life), this trip gave me more than I expected. I loved being back on my scooter, living day by day, being surrounded by Thai people and their beautiful smiles, focussing on boxing, exploring different parts of the island, and making up for lost time with @itscdk, my very own poster-child travel guide queen, who I’ve grown to love even more 🥹🫶🏼

People often tell me that the freedom I have, being single and having no kids, is something to be grateful for. This trip, I really felt that.

But perhaps more importantly, it was the first time in a long time that I genuinely enjoyed spending time with myself again. Win-win if you ask me. *Not me already planning my next trip* 🙄🤭🤫
