Only Tamil that made it till the end. Joke. It was cool to be working in The Apprentice at the same time as @doctor.denzel who was the first Eelam Tamil in the show (I knew before everyone but NDA so had to keep the excitement to myself). Quite an experience with an amazing bunch who I learnt a lot from. Thank you to Si and Ali for the opportunity, and they trusted me till the end. A picture is worth 1000 words, and I can speak for days for the other pictures that didn't make the cut, but here are the ones that got hired for this post. Sabishan - சபீசன் by @sabishan.v
A huge honour to have worked in Lucifer 2: Empuraan as a Runner in the London schedule. A massive thank you to @krishmarkpinto for considering me for this role thinking I would do a good job and I am glad I was able to prove it right, if it wasnt for that phone call the learning (how hard mixing paint is and there is a specific machine for that in Dulux - INSANE) I went through those 8 days and the relationships I built with people would not have happened. Again, thank you to Krish and the production team for it. My first introduction to malayalam films was Drishyam (2013) acted by Mohanlal, and to work in his movie years later really is something (unfortunately, he was not in the London schedule). Even bigger is Prithiviraj directing, who I grew up watching from Tamil movies, assuming he was a tamil actor. The scene I worked on lasted 8 days to do as the arts department was constructing an MI5 war room, you could say, Heading this was the great art director Mohan Das of the film "2018." Do watch that movie for how they managed to create a tsunami effect within a small budget. He was kind to tell me how he did it and also had me tag along with the process as he trusted I was able to get any material needed for the art department. When the day finished, we started planning for the next day with Matthew, the co director of the film, who was a joy to watch working and to learn from him. A huge thank you to Sam and his team who were part of welding the entire set together and also trusted me that I will get all the materials needed from paints, pipes, specific nails ans other crazy stuffs. I knew they appreciated my work when they would ask me to have beer with them after the shoots at the hotel bar we were staying in and have a laugh. Do watch Lucifer 2 Empuraan in cinemas, I went to see my name in the credits...it was in Malayalam, lol. Sabishan - சபீசன் 1. Title 2. BTS 3. Final shot. 4. Seeing this man being overweight ever since I’ve known him to now, the marathon and triathlete that he is, I can’t be nothing but proud. I’m grateful that I got to use someone personal to me in my first advert (I filmed Peace, Thank you afterwards). Thank you to the my reliable Kontrast who always just turn up for me and are down to film anything . A special thank you to @sabishan.v for helping me write the script for the narration and @janith.siva for being the voice talent on this project, I’m actually really grateful that I was able to work with my own family on this project and I’m super happy with how it turned out. Yh,it took time and planning but I think this ad gave me a sense of direction about where I want to take Pangu as a brand. So thank you everyone ❤️ you Pussios #tamilclothingbrand #pangu #tamil #clothingbrand #tamilcontentcreator #clothingbrandmarketing #clothingbrandad #clothingbrandadvert by @sabishan.v
It's never too late to learn your mother tongue. The normal age of starting Tamil School is 3/4, I started when I was 24. Through Instagram I managed to find a teacher who was kind enough to teach us over Zoom every week. It started with more than 30 people back in 2021 and by the time we finished in 2023, there were only 2 of us from the online Zoom calls. Normally, it takes years to go through all 12 grades but as we were slightly older lol we managed to fast track. Learning everything from 1st grade to 12th grade and finally taking the 12th grade exam in 2023 at the age of 26, which i passed. I always knew how to speak Tamil, but now I can read and write, which I couldn't several years ago 1. Receiving my trophy on stage yesterday, 11/02/2024. 2. The OG teacher who taught us. 3. Where it all began in 2021. Sounding like a Linkedin post but I hope this inspires you 🙏🏿 Sabishan - சபீசன் by @sabishan.v

First of all, I am very grateful for the opportunity to be part of this music video. It was a daunting experience to be in a set with so many people for the first time and giving instructions. I take all the experiences over the 2 days as a learning curve along with the people I met over those 2 days who have been very supportive and cooperative. As of 2022, I am very grateful for my family, friends and the new people I have met this year who have been extremely kind, I hope everyone has a strong 2023! Do watch You Mine//Home music video if you haven't, would be more than happy to hear all your feedback. Also stream it on whichever music platform. Sabishan - சபீசன் . . . . . .
