Life isn’t a suffering contest, & you don’t get an award for being the one who suffered the most.

I think sometimes we confuse loyalty with endurance. As if the longer we stay, the more we tolerate, or the more we sacrifice, the more honorable our intentions become.

But there is no prize for staying somewhere that no longer feels right for you.

You can love something deeply and still recognize that it’s time to let it go.

You can be grateful for everything an opportunity gave you and still acknowledge what it cost you.

You can have poured years of your life, your heart, your energy, and every ounce of yourself into building something and still decide that your future deserves something different.

And none of that makes the time you spent there a waste.

I think one of the hardest things to learn is that you don’t have to wait until something completely breaks you to give yourself permission to choose differently.

You don’t have to prove how much you can endure.

You don’t have to convince everyone that your reasons are good enough.

And you certainly don’t have to suffer longer just to prove how much you cared. by @sable0x

This is a hard goodbye.

After three years, I have made the decision to resign as a president & founder from Olive Tree People. Titles I’d never have if it weren’t for the incredible women on my team & the most supportive and loving customers.

There is so much I could say, but more than anything, I am leaving this chapter with an overwhelming amount of gratitude.

I gave so much of my heart to this business. I believed in what we were building, I loved the products, and most of all, I loved the people.

I hope that during my time here, I honored the women I had the privilege of leading. I hope I showed up the way I always wanted to: with kindness, generosity, honesty, support, and a genuine desire to see other women win.

Leading, advocating, building, celebrating your victories, walking beside you through hard seasons, hosting the events, the retreats, the calls, the late night conversations, the tears and the really beautiful moments… it has all meant more to me than I could ever put into one post.

Some chapters can be deeply meaningful and still come to an end. & I will forever be grateful for what this one gave me, what it taught me, and especially for the relationships that came from it.

To every woman who trusted me, built alongside me, supported me, loved me, challenged me, and allowed me to be a small part of her story, thank you.

Leading you has truly been one of the greatest gifts of my life.

I will always be cheering for you.

Still thinking about the most beautiful evening at @haleywilliamshome 🤍

Hallie was so generous to host us and truly thought of every little detail. The invitations, the calligraphy, the florals, the table… everything was so special.

One of my favorite parts was getting to choose our own place settings with the most beautiful china and flatware. I love pieces that feel collected and meaningful, especially the kind you know you’ll keep forever.

And the dinner was incredible. The gnocchi was out of this world.

An everlasting love with @haleywilliamshome

Before the event, we were invited to come in and choose a unique table setting that represented us, and the second you step into their space, you’re instantly mesmerized by every beautiful piece.

When we arrived for the event, we were greeted with the most delicious cocktail by @bonafidechattanooga and caviar while we mingled.

Then we sat down to find our chosen place settings, the most beautiful florals in crystal vases, personalized name tags, and a tablescape that was absolutely to die for.

And the flowers?! Truly some of the most beautiful florals I’ve ever seen. @cartters_trail

We were then served an incredible five-course meal by @bonafidechattanooga, including what might actually be the BEST gnocchi we’ve ever had.

To end the evening, we were each gifted the most beautiful pieces to take home with us.

No detail went unnoticed, and the entire experience was so thoughtful from beginning to end.
