DESK THOUGHTS 💭 So much on my mind as we head into Q4! Between gearing up for the holidays, getting ready to launch some really exciting new products we’ve been working on behind the scenes, and balancing all the wonderful chaos of work, home, and family, this season is always a full one! It’s one of my favorite times of year, and I’m so excited for everything we have coming. 🤍

Are you ready for the holidays, or are you like me and wondering how we’re already halfway through October?! by @sabrinaorganized

If I answer “no” to any of these three questions, that means it’s time for that piece to GO! This system is fast and easy, and that’s why it works so well.

After the edit, I keep it from filling back up with a one-in, one-out policy. If something new comes in, something else goes.

Less is more! It’s the same rule I use everywhere else in the house.

What’s the one piece you know you should let go of but can’t? Maybe I can help convince you it’s time ;) by @sabrinaorganized

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and this year it means more to me than ever.

In 2024, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and thyroid cancer at the same time. Over the next seven months, I had a thyroidectomy, a double mastectomy, and three other surgeries. It was the hardest thing I have ever been through.

So much about cancer is out of your control. I had to put my trust in other people when I felt scared and uncertain, and my doctors at Huntsman Cancer Institute and Intermountain Healthcare met me with extraordinary skill, kindness, and patience.

I will never be exactly who I was before. But alongside everything that was hard, there is deep gratitude: for the care I received, for the people who carried me through, and for the chance to still be here with my family.

Cancer research used to feel like something happening somewhere else. Now it’s part of the reason I’m here, and I want more families to have that same chance.

That’s why this October, Salt is doubling our donation. We will give $2 for every custom organizer sold, with all of it going to Huntsman Cancer Institute and Intermountain Healthcare.

If you’d like to give directly, the donation links are in our bio.

Thank you for letting me share this part of my life with you, and for being part of Salt. 🎀

With love and gratitude,

A Little Life Lately

My sister Angie and I try to hike together once a week. It’s become one of my favorite traditions. Fresh air, time together, and a chance to catch up on everything happening in our lives. I look forward to it every week.

Paige carved this pumpkin for our front porch, and I love it so much. A little Halloween magic courtesy of my girl.

Spent the afternoon with my friend Sydney of @pippoppost organizing her kitchen drawers. You know this is my idea of a really good time! There’s something so satisfying about creating a system that works beautifully for the way someone actually lives.

Sydney bought Georgia an angel costume for Halloween, which couldn’t be more appropriate.

Game day. Go Cougs!

Loved sitting with my brother, nephew, and Paige for this one.

My almost-daily reset. Georgia is so genuinely happy just being outside, exploring, and enjoying the little things. She’s a pretty good reminder to slow down and do the same.

Packed up for a quick overnight trip. Everyone had their @tobiqtravel bags, which makes keeping everything organized so much easier.
Also, can we talk about the frunk? One of my favorite things about driving electric. All that extra storage is a game changer.

Lunch with my boys 💛

Got to watch my nephew Tripp play football with Paige. He’s absolutely crushing it out there, and I love getting to cheer him on!

Nate got his license, and I feel like I’ve barely seen him since! He’s loving his newfound independence, started a new job, and is doing such a great job balancing everything. So proud of this kid. Although I’m still adjusting to him being old enough to drive!

Soccer season with Paige.

Rob made me a gluten-free pie, and it was SO good. We’ve been using @cup4cup flour for baking, and it makes such a difference. Finding great gluten-free alternatives has been a bit of a journey, and this one is definitely a keeper.

I actually stopped just to take this video because the colors were so spectacular. No filter. Utah really knows how to show off in the fall.

My two diehard BYU fans. I don’t think anyone loves Cougar football quite as much as these two (and Sydney!).

Sunday best. I love a beautiful dress, and t by @sabrinaorganized

Happy 22nd birthday, Sydney! ❤️

Sydney is my favorite person to travel the world with!! She is always up for an adventure, and she helps me plan every detail. We take a trip together every year, and I treasure that time with just the two of us. ❤️From planning trips to going to concerts or just lying out in the sun, I love every minute with her.

She would live at Lake Powell all summer if she could (me too!). She surfs like a champ, skis with the guys and out-skis them, plays on the BYU pickleball team, and is a die-hard BYU football fan. Sydney has a natural gift for photography, and it has been so fun to see the world through her photos. Check out her Instagram @sydscoolflicks!

Sydney is beautiful, smart, and kind, and she literally has the biggest heart. She notices what people need and takes the time to be there for them. She loves her family so much. I feel lucky every day to be her mom. I love her so much.

Happy 22nd, Sydney! XOXO by @sabrinaorganized

A room with four jobs can be slightly harder to organize than a room with one 😅 But we did it!

Laundry. Study. Computer. Craft space. Each one wants its own system, and I knew I had to give them one, or it would all blend into a pile.

I’ll be checking back in on this space in six months. If it’s still working, it was actually organized. Stay tuned! by @sabrinaorganized

I stand in our production facility here in Utah now, and I see how every one of those moments led us here.

Every no. Every manufacturing problem. Every “okay, now what...?”

Making our custom acrylic organizers ourselves gave us something we didn’t have before; real ownership over the quality, the process, every detail, and the actual experience our customers get.

Some of the biggest setbacks while we were building Salt ended up pushing us exactly where we needed to go.

You don’t always see that while you’re standing in it. Sometimes you’re just meant to be exactly where you are. by @sabrinaorganized

The Ziploc drawer. We all have one, and we all hate it.

Boxes catching every time you open it, foil and saran wrap sliding everywhere, no system to any of it.

So we built one. Dedicated compartments for every bag size, spots for foil, wrap, and parchment, built-in cutters, and strong magnets so nothing shifts when you pull. Custom-fit to your drawer, because no two are the same.

Travel has so much you can’t control — delays, plans changing, someone getting sick. So I control everything I actually can before we ever leave the house.

It’s the same instinct behind every system I build: order in the parts of life that are actually mine to control.

You put in the work ahead of time. Then you actually get to be there. 🤍 by @sabrinaorganized

My best buddy is 16. ❤️

Nate and I share a love of Disney, Lord of the Rings, Hunter x Hunter, cold Mott’s applesauce with a plastic spoon (IYKYK), Werther’s candies, and so many little things that are just ours.

He has grown into this amazingly cool kid who still lets me hang out with him and his friends. And somehow, he seems to actually enjoy having me around. I’ll take it.

Traveling just the two of us is one of my favorite things. I love seeing the world with him, geeking out together, and watching him find something to flip off of everywhere we go.

He is quietly brilliant, and I know he’ll do whatever he sets his mind to. I just love getting to be his mom.

I can hardly imagine him leaving home in a few years. For now, I’m soaking up every trip, every conversation, and every little thing that’s ours.

Happy 16th birthday, Nate. Just LOVE you, kid. by @sabrinaorganized

Another Sabrina System for you! It’s simpler than you’d think, and that’s the point. Not one more thing to manage. One less thing to think about.

Save this for your next seasonal swap, and tell me your tricks! I’m all ears. by @sabrinaorganized
