You ever hear someone talk but their voice is like a song? If you ever got the pleasure of meeting my Grammy, you sure did then. And if she wasn’t talking, odds are, she was singing, or trying to figure out Facebook and why they’re always telling her who to be friends with.
I don’t really care for social media , I repel it actually, but she’s always always encouraged me to post to “the Facebook” and share my art with the world, daring me to fiercely, boldly, and elegantly chase my dreams and treat every day like a gift. So it only feels right to start with you, my love.
She’s taken on a new form, but Im amazed, not entirely surprised though, how she’s been finding her ways to talk like an angel, speaking to me through the clouds and song since she’s become my angel.
You couldn’t wait to hear my latest adventures while simultaneously worried about my whereabouts and safety. Not sleeping until I was home safe, oh how lucky to experience a love where one waits up for you because they can’t rest until they know you’re home safe. I guess now you just get to come on all my adventures with me and keep me safe.
I really could keep going on about her, she raised a talker, just like herself, but I’ll leave you with a note out of Lois’s book; keep dreaming, love hard, treasure the little things, it’ll make the big things that much more special, write that thank you note ~she always said the art of it is lost but is always appreciated by those who receive it~, your hair is your crown and glory, each day is beautiful, even the hard ones, you just have to give it a chance, and when the beautiful things happen to you, believe you are worthy of every single bit of it.
I love you my sweet gram, and truthfully anyone who met this radiant woman, even if it was for 5 minutes, couldn’t help but love her, too. She made it so easy. She is love. by @sabrinapalko
