One thing me about me, I will absolutely locate vegan food no matter where I’m at. I’ve been doing this a couple decades now so I know where to look.

Look for
•a gentrified area (lol)
•an area with Rastafarians because Ital food is near
•get creative with what’s on the menu
•look on yelp, happy cow or google “vegan food near me”

The day I touched down in Amsterdam I decided to take a solo walk through the city. The day was perfect and the city was so beautiful and inviting.

I’ve always been a solo traveler because I love to just venture off and do my own thing without feeling held back. If you want to travel but are too busy waiting for someone to join you JUST GO. If you’re lucky you’ll find someone who understands the need for freedom and doesn’t take offense to your random adventures.

Shoutout to @brooklynbritvr for being that person!

Bonjour Paris! you were beautiful. 🇫🇷❤️

From the streets, the architecture, and the little moments in between, I’m grateful I got to experience a piece of this country even if it was just for 48 hours. But the day I was leaving, protests began, serving as a reminder that there’s always more to a place than what we see as visitors. To see Bally Bagayoko, the mayor of ‌the French town of Saint-Denis shield those students and looking as if he was willing to go to war for them hit hard.

Yes, it is easy to fall in love with a destination but travel is more than theoretical passport stamps (I hate that they don’t stamp anymore) and pretty pictures. It’s about learning, gaining perspective, and remembering that every destination has a story beyond what we see as tourists.

France, thank you for the memories. 🇫🇷 taken in Paris,France by @sabrinasith

🫂☕️💵 I’m not asking for too much….. actually make it a chai with oat milk and a dust of cinnamon on top.

Wait, I wouldn’t quit my job because I actually enjoy it….. I just need a hug, chai and $2 mil.

🏰 I spent the day with my cousin in Heidelberg, Germany 🏰

It was literally a visual dream to me.
I love the architecture and layout of the town. I swear I’ve dreamt of places that looks like this so to see it wide awake was a beautiful thing to me 💗 taken in Heidelberg, Germany by @sabrinasith

I booked my flight the night before | left and everything just fell in place after. Paris was cute, l’d go back.

Was it crowded? A bit. Is it as dirty as people say?
Somewhat. Are the people really rude? Not really, just be sure to greet them and follow their rules because you are just a guest. Is there beauty and history everywhere you look? Absolutely!

I am going to brush up on my French because it pained me to have to make them speak to me in English. taken in Paris,France by @sabrinasith

I wanted to LOVE HHN this year but it just wasn’t hitting the same this year. I’m a major Halloween fan so this is my favorite season! I was so happy to pull up and see all the houses but unfortunately due to the fact they let everyone in all at once, it takes away from the excitement of not knowing what’s coming around the corner. I still had fun and would be go back and enjoy the vibes because I love the spookiness of it all.

Btw I LOVE a good spooky circus/carnival vibe so they won my heart there. taken in Halloween Horror Nights - Universal Orlando by @sabrinasith

👀 This is a great example of ✨romanticized travel video✨ vs. absolutely unromantic history. Let’s talk about this cenote…

This is Cenote Calavera (“Skull Cenote”), named for the three openings in the limestone ceiling that resemble a skull. And yes, there were bats flying around. 🦇

Cenotes were sacred to the ancient Maya and connected to Xibalba, the underworld. Human remains have also been found in this cave, with some sources reporting hundreds of remains and linking the cenote to ancient burial practices.

So the video is giving ✨peace, love & healing✨…

…and the history is giving “bih, you’re literally swimming in a burial site.” 😐💀

As a fan of the macabre, finding this out after swimming here didn’t scare me, it fascinated me. Especially thinking about how places that were once sacred are now tourist attractions. I love the idea of acknowledging and respecting its history but knowing people will walk away never knowing doesn’t sit well with me. Very conflicting although beautiful.

So I have to know….. would you swim here?
