🎉 Invited to N10 to advise on how to get more entrepreneurs to start their own business ☺️
.

So today was AMAZING. I have the most awesome projects taking place and conversations which I’ve found so exciting! I’ve had chats with journalists, MPs, advisors and even Boris!☺️ It’s exciting to think my thoughts and ideas are being listening too, to the extend where I’m now able to help start making a difference! 🥳 I’m working on some new ideas with some incredible people (more info to come!) and can’t wait to share the experience with everyone! 😋 I love how there are so many more young, diverse representatives now to focus on education, business and entrepreneurship projects, making changes at a bigger and more long term scale. Bring. It. On. .

📺What was my biggest lesson from the Apprentice?

🧠That you as an entrepreneur have the ability to do anything with the right mindset and skill set.

🍩Every week we were given the task to bake and sell donuts or pitch our new airline. We had to adapt to the new task, no matter how much (or little) experience we had.

🎮Business is a game of adapting, working as a team and choosing your battles.

When it comes to your business, or watching the show, what’s your biggest take away? Comment below 👇👇👇 by @sabrinastocker.r

Working harder isn't always the answer.
One line from Sabrina Stocker in this week's Founder Classic really captures it:
“It’s not that I’m not working hard, it’s that I’m working hard at the wrong thing.”
That's a difficult thing for any entrepreneur to recognise.
Because when something isn't working, our instinct is often:
Work longer.
Push harder.
Do more.
But sometimes the answer isn't more effort.
It's changing direction.
Sabrina did exactly that.
And ultimately it led her to completely rethink the kind of business, and life, she wanted to build.

What if the biggest risk isn't leaving, but staying exactly where you are?

Sabrina Stocker had lost her tennis-events business during lockdown and was running a new PR company from her local coffee shop.

Then she had a thought:
“If I’m working here, I could work anywhere.”

Within a month she'd sold her car, given up her flat, sold everything and moved to Egypt.

It wasn't that Sabrina wasn't prepared to work hard.

She realised she was working hard at the wrong thing.

That's the story at the heart of today's Screw It Just DO It Founder Classic.

Sometimes changing your life doesn't start with having everything figured out.
It starts with deciding that staying where you are isn't enough.

A popular narrative that successful, beautiful, kind, full-package single women in their 30s often hear is that their standards are too high.

I know because they come into sessions with me saying it, questioning themselves and, in the process, questioning their worth.

But more often than not, I don’t think their standards are too high.

I think they’re simply focused on the wrong standards.

A woman who doesn’t fully know her worth will often prioritise the man who looks good on paper over the man who actually treats her well.

The chemistry.
The status.
The lifestyle.
The potential.

Instead of asking…

Does he make me feel emotionally safe?
Does he communicate consistently?
Does he respect my boundaries?
Does he bring peace instead of confusion?
Does he choose me with his actions, not just his words?
Does he make my life better?

So yes, keep your standards high, ladies.

Just make sure they’re high in the ways that actually matter.

Prioritise the man who will…
• Celebrate your wins.
• Speak to you with kindness.
• Make you feel emotionally safe.
• Repair after conflict.
• Keep his word.
• Make you laugh and also hold space when you cry.
• Bring you peace, not anxiety.
• Love you in a way that feels like home, not something you constantly have to earn.

Because often our girl friends will do that for us but we forget to hold those same standards for our partners.

If you’re ready to stop settling for emotionally unavailable men and become the woman who naturally attracts healthy, secure love, DM me COACHING and let’s chat about working together.
