i found an abandoned warehouse…

which had me thinking about lost crafts. what happens when your product goes extinct? you invest so much into its production. in fact a whole warehouse such as this. except eventually it gets lost in the woods. engulfed by weeds, graffiti, creatures, everything but the craft that once lived inside these walls.

besides being scared of being in the woods all by myself in a place like this, i think the idea of lost craft scared me more.

i guess that’s the beauty of 3d printing right? once a product reaches its expiration it’s onto the next! or maybe it could even bring back lost crafts that need revisiting. or maybe it can make things that are meant to be temporary like clothes or food (3d printing chocolate exists somewhere). the possibilities are endless.

3d printing. a craft that never dies.

dare i say every goal is for pakistan 👀

fun fact: the trionda world cup ball is manufactured in pakistan! specifically in sialkot

i was feeling the world cup spirit and decided to get in on the jersey action w this one! and of course had to rep pakistan somehow. we may not have qualified futbol-wise but pakistan’s craftsmanship and engineering is definitely overqualified 🙂‍↕️

so while pakistan couldn’t be in the world cup it technically makes its appearance every game 😌 a country’s craftsmanship up on stage (or should i say field)

pk tray dropping friday 🍇

i’m always in the need for a new jewelry tray and decided to 3d print one! but after using it for some time i realized i can elevate the look and feel using cement (also a great excuse to experiment with 3d printing assisted mold making). although this isn’t 3d printed i like to call it 3d printed assisted since the mold was created using 3d printed elements! cement being a common medium used in pk for construction seemed like the most natural approach for this 🙂‍↕️

alas this pk tray was born.

simple but functional and lets the jewelry carry the piece.

in life there r 2 kinds of pains…

there’s 1) the pain of staying where you are. regret. anxiety. longing. then theres 2) the pain of growing. risk. reward? change.

surely the pain of growing is a risk worth taking? a bet on urself. a fine test to see what’s more to come… i say take that bet. maybe it was the wrong call? another bet. still nothing? third times a charm 🙂‍↕️

okay this is starting to sound like im promoting gambling im not guys trust 🙏

but what i’m trying to say is take a gamble on your future a lil bit ! go the road less traveled and convince yourself that that’s the right path! i promise it’s fun so long as you obtain a lil bit of delusion along the way 🫵
