We are so excited to welcome back Julie Miller to the stage as a soloist for this weekend’s Beethoven Symphony No. 9 performances! You might remember seeing Julie in La Traviata with us just a few months ago!

Hailed for the “arresting color” (Cincinnati Enquirer) of her voice, Julie Miller has appeared as a soloist with orchestras and opera companies throughout the U.S.A Most notably, she has appeared on the stage of the Lyric Opera of Chicago as Emilia in Otello, Annina (La Traviata), Ida (Die Fledermaus), Baroness Nica in Charlie Parker’s Yardbird, and Krystina (The Passenger). Her performance of the title role in Handel’s Ariodante was described by the Chicago Classical Review as an “admirable and professional performance” and by the Chicago Tribune as “deeply musical.” Other assignments with the company include understudies of Octavian in Der Rosenkavalier and Waltraute in Die Walküre.
