HAPPY (late) NEW YEAR TO THE HOBBY!

I truly appreciate everyone who made this year of buying selling trading and collecting special. This was a great year of meeting new people, traveling and going to shows, but most importantly building lifelong friendships within sports cards, and growing as a person. let’s do it again, 2024 here we come.

(and of course I couldn’t miss on the perfect opportunity to post a video of charlie doing jumping jacks).

My Next Chapter… 📚

For the last 3 years I’ve spent my time in this hobby as the buyer and now the head of acquisitions at True Sports Cards & Collectibles. Over this three year period, I have made some of my best friends for life. I have grown from the teenage boy I once was when I started, into the young man I am now today. This would not be possible without the team, staff, and ownership that has been with me on this journey. Today, I am announcing my official departure from my position as the head of acquisitions. I am extremely thankful for the opportunities this job has presented me with. Thank you to the countless collectors, friends, and great customers I have met on this journey. Every single one of you guys made my job what I looked forward to waking up to everyday.

My new venture in this hobby starts today. I will now be buying, selling & trading on my own behalf, instead of the stores. I look forward to seeing familiar faces, and buying cards at shows, online, and locally for years to come! Sacramentocards isn’t going anywhere!

Although I will be focused on buying and selling cards on my own behalf going forward, this does not mean my days at True Sports Cards are over. I will continue to be a minority partner of the store, and I will be in the shop one day a week, see you all on Wednesdays! I look forward to ripping new releases with everybody then!!!
