Both of my grandmothers carried & birthed twins. When I feel doubt creeping inโ€ฆ when my body feels stretched between strength and surrenderโ€ฆ I remember this: I am not the beginning of this story. My bones hold the codes. My blood carries the memory. My DNA remembers what it means to make space for two hearts, two souls, two lives at once. Long before me, their bodies knew how to soften and expand, how to endure and open, how to trust what was unfolding within them. That wisdom did not disappear...it lives within me. So when fear rises, I return to that knowing. I am held by generations of women who have done this before. I am guided by something older than doubt. My body is not guessing. It remembers. Our snow moon womenโ€™s retreat was a huge success! The perfect antidote to the intense energy of the world right now. We were able to drop into community, deepen in connection with ourselves, and help share the wisdom and healing of gathering with other women. We found medicine in other peopleโ€™s stories, uncovered blocks within ourselves, and witnessed each other rewriting the story of our cyclical nature. Lots of tears were shed, and big love shared. We are very grateful and our cups are so full. Thank you for trusting us with the weekend and your hearts. A huge thank you to our husbands, holding down the home with the little ones. This Equinox, Miss Moon & I closed a sacred chapter together~we gently released mamaโ€™s milkies. We honored the moment with a little weaning ceremony: sipping tea by candlelight from a boobie cup gifted with so much love, listening to @mackenzie.madrone magical new album on repeat, and looking through tender photos of her first year of nursing. 27 moons have melted into memory. Breastfeeding has been the most precious gift! Hours of gazing into ๐ŸŒฒ๐ŸŒ™โ€™s eyes, heart-to-heart, soul-to-soul. Words could never capture the beauty, devotion, and love wrapped up in this season of our lives. Weโ€™ve been walking toward this moment with so much care. Since her second birthday, weโ€™ve slowly let go. Weโ€™ve been guided by stories like Nursies When the Sun Shines, Booby Moon, and Bye Bye Boobies. Each page turned was another step toward readiness, for both of us. Iโ€™ll never forget the tears that came with those first readsโ€”tears of release, gratitude, and awe at how fast this season flows. Through it all, Iโ€™ve leaned on the wisdom of my mama friends, their voices echoing encouragement and strength. My sweet wild girl, has met every shift with such grace and spiritโ€”declaring now with pride, โ€œIโ€™m old!โ€ ๐Ÿ’ซ @maxandrewyoung & I are in awe of her resilience. To witness her let go of something so beloved with openness reminds me that with patience, presence, communication, and gentle boundaries, we can truly move mountains. ๐ŸŒฒโœจ So here we are. Life lately has been so rich & full โœจ summary: paddle board adventures at our home beach, our girl reached two rotations around the ๐ŸŒž & the week before we blessed my dear sister up for her birth portal Red Tent style the day after I wrapped up my 11th school year, the week before that we went on a road trip to southern Oregon with our best gal pals to Spirit Weavers and I learned to felt in the forest (dreams do come true), and the week before that we celebrated our Triplet buddies and their big sis Lunaโ€™s birthday at the cabinโ€ฆwe sprinkle in museum time, garden time, zoo time, farmers markets, thrifting,bike trips, & lots of hang outs with our nearest & dearest during our weeks. We are spoken for every weekend for the rest of the summer & we will continue to celebrate & enjoy this life with cherished friends & family.
