Decay ROT drop ~ ready to ship rings are now online 💎 by @sacreflux
Hey everyone, This is me. I design and make all the jewels you see here at @sacreflux 💕 I was planning on having a creative day in the studio today but I feel unmotivated and anxious today. I hoping that by looking back at old photos like this one, from when I ran my first workshop last year will help me feel positive and inspired. I have some exciting new pieces I want to work on but I’m also feeling nervous about rejection and failure. I wanted to take this moment to be vulnerable too and ask What do you do when your feeling discouraged or fear of failure? by @sacreflux
This is the other animation by @mikaelastafford I had made in 2019 ~ this one is permanently on my website, I love it so much, I think it set the tone of Sacreflux perfectly 🩷♥️🩷 by @sacreflux
A little Sacreflux Christmas wishlist inspiration ✨ A little collection of things I’ve been making lately, lovingly dreamed up and brought to life in the studio. With Christmas slowly creeping up on us, I thought it was a good time for a little reminder to get your orders in early if you’ve been dreaming of a little Sacreflux something under the tree. Everything is lovingly handmade, and while I’ll be doing my best to get orders made and sent out in time for Christmas, I won’t be setting a strict Christmas order cut-off this year. That said, if you’re hoping for your piece to arrive in time for Christmas, please order as early as possible. Orders placed closer to the day may not make it in time, and unfortunately I can’t guarantee Christmas delivery. A little early Christmas magic is always a good idea. All these items are on my website for easy purchase, just choose gemstone colours and sizes 💌 Thank you so much for supporting my little world of jewellery-making. It means the world to me. ❤️ #jewellery #gold #silver #angels #stars by @sacreflux
A happy little Monday update Firstly, thank you so much for all the beautiful messages on our pregnancy announcement. I’ve felt so much love and support, and it’s been such a joy reading everyone’s kind words. I’ll be slowly working my way through reading and replying to them all over the coming week. Thank you for sharing in this little bit of magic with us. There’s lots happening in the studio this week! I’ll be working through the orders that have come in, alongside a little ready-to-ship shop update featuring some messy rings, pearl drop earrings and a handful of one-off treasures. Shop update will go live on Thursday at 5pm ish. Keep your eyes peeled for that. I’ll also be continuing to work on a very special new project with Silk Laundry, alongside @mia_sully and @hilarygreen__ Together, we’re exploring the exhibition title Fertile Ground and what these words mean to each of us, both individually and collectively. It’s a beautiful theme to sit with, particularly through the lens of making, motherhood, nature and the cycles of growth, transformation and renewal. I’ve been playing with some very flora-inspired designs, drawing on the natural world and the beautiful floral references within Silk Laundry’s latest collection. Sharing a little peek at some of the things taking shape here. More to come on this one, but for now, wishing you all a beautiful start to the week. #shopupdate #jewellery #newprojects #flora #sterlingsilver by @sacreflux
Super excited to announce @sacreflux @hilarygreen__ and I will be showcasing a new body of work at our Group exhibition Fertile Ground at the beautiful Silk Laundry store in Armadale on the 27th November 🌸 Pop it in your calendar! More details coming soon x Dressed head to toe in new pieces from @silklaundry Flora & Fragility collection 🧡 #groupshow #melbourneevents #artshow #melbourneart #silklaundry by @sacreflux
A little life update, and a little life growing! I’ve been a little quieter around here over the last few months. Since July, we’ve been quietly growing another little human, and we’re now almost 20 weeks into this journey. Pregnancy after loss is a tender, complicated thing. There is so much hope, excitement and love, but also an anxiety that’s difficult to explain unless you’ve lived it. I’ve been slow on sharing this news publicly but I want to celebrate this baby, to make room for this little life and love them out loud, just as we continue to love and celebrate our beautiful Pippin. It’s been a joy sharing our news with friends and family, and we’ve felt so incredibly supported and loved. We’re feeling very excited to meet this little one, even as we navigate all the big feelings that come with getting here. The last 20 weeks have also brought plenty of nausea, fatigue, a few hospital visits (including a little detour in New Zealand 🫠), and lots of slow days. In between, I’ve been quietly working away on some very special jewellery, creating meaningful pieces that hold stories, memories and love. I feel so honoured to be trusted with these little pieces of other people’s worlds. ✨ So, a little bit of what I’ve been up to: growing a baby, growing around grief, making beautiful things, spending time and learning to hold hope within uncertainty. Thank you for being apart of this journey. 🩷 by @sacreflux
A little New Zealand daydream 🌷✨ I’ve been away for the last eight days celebrating my beautiful cousin’s birthday, and catching up with family. Tucked amongst the adventures was a little birthday magic of my own making. Two golden treasures, An AB letter necklace with three pearly little drops, and a delicate gold chain sprinkled with luminous pearls. Little fairy heirlooms, fit for dancing barefoot through enchanted gardens before disappearing into a candlelit chapel. 🕯️🪽 I’m back in the studio now, slowly pottering away at your orders that came in while I was off adventuring. I’m still taking things gently while navigating some health stuff, but the little workshop lights are back on, and I’m finding my way back to the bench. 🌿 I’ll be bringing a basket of Sacreflux treasures to the Shell Space Market this Friday (night) and Saturday, come have a rummage, find yourself a little talisman, and say hello if you’re about! Thank you for your patience and for keeping this little world of mine full of magic. 💌🧚🏻‍♀️ P.S These AB letter pedants will be making their way back online pretty soon. Available on chains rather than pearl strands. by @sacreflux

A Test piece Ring I’ve been working on for a month or two, I love how it came out and I want to make more similar. Hopefully this will come to fruition before the end of the year. Champagne quarts with a setting inspired by natural vines, corbels and consoles from neoclassical and art nouveau periods. Built in golden, soft pink and dark blue wax and cast into sterling silver. What does this ring make you feel? by @sacreflux
I love making, seeing what creations come from my mind and walk out of my hands and into wax forms. This year has been a quite one that’s for sure, I think many people are feeling the pressures of financial changes, and for me it’s been a reminder to be grateful of the support I have. I’m taking the opportunity to look at a bigger picture and know all phases will pass. The end of this year is bringing some exciting ventures and i can’t wait to share them with you. Thank you for your support, it means a lot. #jewellery #jeweller #sterlingsilver #rings #fashion by @sacreflux
I made these muzzles in 2018. Created as a statement on the silencing of women, oppression, inequality and violence against women, each piece carried words that, heartbreakingly, still feel just as relevant today. I’ve held onto these pieces for nearly a decade, but recently decided it was time to reclaim the silver and transform it into something new. Before doing so, I wanted to bring them here again, to give them one last moment in the light. It breaks my heart that, almost ten years later, we are still fighting for women to be heard, believed and safe. That our voices are still silenced, our bodies violated, and our equality treated as something we must continue to demand. The silver may be melted down, but the message remains. Hopefully with the rebirth can come new energy and hope. A reminder of how far we have to go, and of how necessary it still is to speak, to listen, to resist, and to refuse to be silenced. 🖤 by @sacreflux
