💚💛🐝 College of Health and Human Services Interim Dean Robert Pieretti and Associate Dean Ben Fell represented Health Hive at a Dignity Health reception for Community Health Improvement Grantees. A $100,000 award was presented to Health Hive by the CommonSpirit Health Community Health Improvement Grants program to support this student and faculty mobile healthcare initiative in the greater Sacramento community. Check out Health Hive at the R&B Running Series on May 16, 2026.

The event celebrated Black wellness, blending a 5K/10K with onsite access to mental health resources. At the finish line, participants connected with professionals, learned about services available in the community (including services at Sac State), and received information about how to take the next steps towards careers in Counseling and Social Work. by @sacstatechppr

Kids’ Day in the Park Recap ✨

The CSUS Student Academy of Audiology and Recreation Majors Association had a great time at the 35th Annual Kids’ Day, where they were able to table and provide kids with HHS resources like audiology support, as well as fun activities like coloring and mini games 🎨
