We had the pleasure of hosting @sacstatedpt 3rd year students for our first ever EDPT Sips and Skills event! We went over hands-on techniques, such as soft tissue mobilization, myofascial decompression, ASTYM, and EDPT’s bread-and-butter SIJ screen and treatment. This was a fun night of learning and socializing with the future doctors of our profession. We greatly appreciate everyone who showed up and can’t wait for the next one! 🙌🏼

On August 8 from 9:00am - 12:00pm, Sutter Roseville Rehabilitation will host its 2nd Annual Adapted Car Show. The event is designed to bring together individuals with spinal cord injury and other mobility impairments, their families, healthcare professionals and community organizations to explore adapted vehicles, learn about options available, and connect with valuable community resources.

Attendees will have the opportunity to see a variety of adapted vehicles, speak with vehicle owners and adaptive equipment vendors, and learn more about the resources available to support independence and community mobility.

Volunteer Needed (request specifically for Sacramento State DPT Students/Alumni)
Sutter Roseville Rehabilitation would appreciate volunteers for the event. Duties for volunteers will mostly include coordinating parking for participants. The expected time commitment is from 8:30am-12:30pm.

Congratulations to Myah Kellam (DPT Class of 2026), this year’s recipient of the Terrapin Physical Therapy Scholarship! 🎉

This scholarship honors the Pazzaglia family (Tony and Heidi Pazzaglia). Tony, a 1997 PT program alumnus, has remained a dedicated supporter of the program over the years.
