Sacramento State social work students showing up and making their voices heard at California Legislative Lobby Days.

These future social workers met with legislators to advocate for policies that support equity, access to care, and stronger communities across California. Proud to see the next generation of advocates in action.

Thank you NASW-CA for organizing this impactful experience.

The Sac State Capital Fellows Program hosted a Brown Bag Speaker Series event downtown for the 18 student fellows beginning their 25–26 cycle, including several proud Sac State alumni. The session was well attended, interactive, and ended with an engaging Q&A.

Dr. Eggman, speaking as a former legislator and current Sac State faculty member, shared insight and guidance as the fellows prepare for their yearlong Assembly Fellowship in the California State Capitol.

The Sacramento Fellows Program is one of the premier Fellowships in the country for those pursuing a career in governmental public service. We are proud of Dr.Eggman 💛🐝
