So, some weeks back, we had two weddings.

THE KYARIS

One day.
A whole lot of moving around.

I attended Follow The Light class in 2021, and honestly, I haven’t attended another photography class since (aside the business class I attended recently). That one class changed the way I understood light, storytelling, and the kind of photographer I wanted to become.

Years later, I’m still learning, still experimenting, still pushing myself to create differently.

This shoot is a small reflection of that influence, taking something I learned, adding my own experiences, and turning it into something that feels like me.

I’ve been thinking about building a set and creating something from scratch. Not just taking pictures, but actually being part of the creative process. This time, we made it happen. With the help of some amazing creatives, we worked on the set before getting to the actual shoot. I was directing, making adjustments, and finding the right frames as everything slowly came together.

Some stories just get better with time.
Let me give you a brief story. So, Isa wasn’t really used to being in front of the camera, so the pre-wedding shoot was a little difficult at first. But as the session went on, he became more relaxed, and by the end, he was enjoying every moment.

By the wedding day, everything felt easy. The trust we built during the pre-wedding shoot made the whole experience smooth and natural.

And for Nana, who had been talking to us about her wedding long before the day came, was a bit relax but was lacking the vibe, I realized the mood hadn't set in yet. But grateful for the presence of few of her friend and family @ladifa_mk and others.
