The Holy Spirit is literally my best friend. My journal? It’s full of my complaints to Him, yet He never gets tired of listening. I love Him deeply, especially for the way He comforts me like no one else can.

When I’m worn out, He’s my safe place. And let’s not even talk about how He gives me insight into things I wasn’t even supposed to know but I call it divine amebo! 😂

Our friendship is locked in forever ♾️, unshakable and truly cherished. I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

As I sat in the corner of my room that morning, I stared into the stillness, searching for answers I didn’t even know I needed.

Fear sat beside me, heavy and familiar. It whispered, ‘What if you fail? What if it doesn’t work out?’

But then, amidst fear’s taunts, another voice emerged, faint, yet persistent. It was regret, pleading with me. Don’t make me your companion. I am the shadow of dreams unlived. If you let fear cage you, I’ll follow you wherever you go.

The weight of its words sank deep.

Fear may delay my steps, but regret will haunt my soul.
So, I asked myself, Am I willing to trade fear for regret?
The answer, as terrifying as it feels, is NO.

And you? What’s your answer?

The truth is fear never lets go. You have to walk away from it. It will shout after you, claw at your resolve, but you must keep moving.
Because regret doesn’t just visit it stays.

A Short Story

Amanda stood before the mirror, staring at her reflection. For years, her wardrobe had been a revolving door of fleeting trends. Pieces she had bought not because they spoke to her, but because they helped her blend in.
Her instinct whispered a question she wasn’t prepared for: who are you when you wear an outfit?
Amanda blinked, startled. “I… I’m…” she stuttered, but the words refused to form.
The mirror seemed to press further, its silence louder than her thoughts. She had spent so long dressing to please others, to fit into places that didn’t feel like home. But what did her clothes say about her? Did they speak of her strength? Her faith? Her dreams? Or did they scream of a woman too afraid to be seen for who she truly was?
Her eyes fell on a forgotten dress tucked away in the corner of her closet. It was simple, timeless, and full of meaning. A deep emerald gown her mother had once described as a reflection of grace and dignity. At first, Amanda hesitated before slipping it on.
As the fabric settled around her, something shifted. It wasn’t just her reflection that changed, it was her perspective. She saw a woman who didn’t need trends to define her, A woman whose identity was already enough. “Your style is your identity” her mother’s words echoed in her mind. And for the first time, Amanda understood. She didn’t need clothes to speak louder than her presence. Instead, her style could become an extension of the woman she was becoming, purposeful, confident, and unshaken by the noise of the world.
When Amanda stepped out that evening, heads turned. Not because of the dress itself, but because of the quiet authority she wore with it.
Her reflection’s question lingered, but this time she had an answer. “I am Amanda, and I am enough.”
