POV: Your first home is also your first investment. 🏡🔑💰 My client came to me with a plan: purchase a duplex, live in one side, rent out the other, and eventually rent out BOTH sides so he can do it all over again. That’s not just buying a home that’s thinking about the bigger picture. 👏🏾 Today, I’m bringing you along for a little behind-the-scenes of our final walkthrough before closing. This is exactly why having the right agent matters. My job isn’t only to negotiate the deal , it’s to make sure you’re closing on a property that’s actually ready for you. During our final walkthrough, we discovered that the dishwasher wasn’t working and the pool wasn’t ready. Instead of allowing that to derail closing, we negotiated an escrow holdback, closed successfully, and both items were addressed, fixed, and cleaned the very next day. 🙌🏾 Buyer happy. Seller happy.
