If you only have a lick of hair, this one is for you!
I know you want to reach for the heat right now, but wait! Do this instead.

Like I said in my curl defining video, SECTIONS are your best friend! And this stands true for this style as well.

Instructions:
1. Split front half into 8 rectangles using a light weight gel and small rubber bands.
2. Twist the mini ponytail into one whole twist.
3. Attach twist end to one of your back rectangle sections and secure with rubber band.
4. Define curls and go!

However, if length retention is priority, this is what it is.

- Keep your hair clean.
- Keep your hair hydrated.
- Leave it alone or in a state that does not require brushing and combing.

Maaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnn! One thing about me…. I absolutely cannot stand being in a rushhhhh. Uhhhh! Hair Growth starts with HYDRATION💧! If your hair is thirsty and dehydrated, it WILL NOT grow. Plain and simple. So what does this mean for you?….

Some damage is irreversible. In that case, you must cut the hair. That’s it. Let it go.

If you like you want juicy curls… you cannot press your hair straight. They do not go together. Eventually you will have an altered curl pattern.

If you struggle to detangle or style your hair, you may need a trim. That’s typically your split ends snagging each other.

You want long, healthy hair?! WHY are you using oils, butters or creams on dry, brittle hair? ❌ Why is there 30 pounds of thick ass braiding gel in your hair, talking about, “protective style”. WHOLE TIME?! Your hair nor scalp can breathe and there isn’t a lick of water to be found. *Hard Side eye*

Step 1: Clarify - Remove Build Up (This is literally most of ya’lls issue.)

Step 2: HYDRATION - Read the ingredients and look for things like hydrating shampoos and conditioners.

Step 3: LEAVE IT TF ALONE! I mean it! (Respectfully with love, of course!😉)

Diffusing is amazing for long lasting styles. I usually dry my hair to 75%-100%. This allows the products to set properly and lock in the look. They have all types of diffusers available, this one is from Sally’s or Ulta for like $20 bucks and is very effective.

Also, it’s me and this Conair Pro until she decides we’re done! I love her, I will ride this thing til the tape can’t hold no more. 💪🏽😂
