glimpse of january & highlights🦋🍯🧸

had a great start to the year. continued old habits and made a new routine for myself. I’ve also been romanticizing the small moments and making time for things that make me happy like daily movement, annotating, crocheting & ofc reading!

some highlights:

♡ eating healthy & trying out new recipes
♡ the media I’ve been consuming!! percy jackson, pwmov, heated rivalry, frankenstein rewatch, bridgerton, P&P.
♡ annotating books/diamond painting
♡ consistently working out

reads:

♡ mate and funny story!! my favorite reads this month. was so invested in daphne & miles’ story, i haven’t stopped thinking about them🥹
♡ reread big nick energy, the mistletoe motive & the sweetest oblivion and loved it! got me out of my slumpish mood.

divine rivals💌🕊️🕯️🧺

this book was so heartbreakingly beautiful!! I went into this with no expectations and I’m so glad I did because I really enjoyed how everything unfolded. the story was so enchanting and I loved watching roman and iris develop such a magical connection🥹 their love was so emotional, tender and real.

divine rivals is a tale of war and a beautiful romance that forms amongst all the chaos. the letters were truly my favorite part of this book! they were so intimate and vulnerable, you could FEEL the yearning and longing in each letter. their connection was built on their loss & grief and they really found comfort in each other. Rebecca Ross has the most beautiful, poetic writing style ever!! It completely mesmerized me🩵

Roman and Iris, I loved them so much both individually and together. she is strong willed and compassionate, while he’s charming and witty. complete opposites but absolutely perfect together. they understood each other so deeply and there was something very gentle, pure and intimate about their love. it was beautiful to see their connection grow through the banter, letters & the small moments. but would’ve loved to see more of their rivalry!!

I cant wait to continue their story in ruthless vows💜 by @sadeeaslibrary

2026 goals & intentions💌💫🦢

it’s a new year so I thought I’d share my goals & intentions for myself. I love making these throughout the year, it really motivates me to live more intentionally🥹

goals & intentions:🎀

♡ start journaling
♡ try out new hobbies + crafts
♡ work out consistently
♡ scroll less, read more
♡ prioritize physical tbr
♡ deepen my spiritual growth
♡ trust my decisions more
♡ do things out of your comfort zone

so excited to fall in love with new books/series and authors this year!!🫶🏼 my goal is to read 60 books, very optimistic of me but I love a good challenge!🙂‍↕️

💫some habits from 2025 I want to continue:

♡ quality over quantity
♡ no screen time after waking up
♡ writing more reviews

a glimpse of july💐🧺

can’t believe we’re almost halfway done with the year! I feel like I’ve been the best version of myself lately. making time for all my little hobbies, lots of journaling, fixing my relationship with food & staying active🫶🏼

my reads have been chefs kiss🙂‍↕️ the power of dnfing books! I’ve read 3 books this month, nightshade being my favorite. I absolutely loved Alex & Ophelia. reread bride. sometimes you just need a good vampire x werewolf romance😮‍💨

comfort book recs + quotes 💌💫

some of my favorite romances! if you want a mix of comfort & humor with mentions of grief, I highly recommend💜these characters & their journeys means so much to me, I deeply connected with them.

the heartbreak hotel & passion project are new faves and ones that haven’t left my mind the moment I finished. teared up while making this post. I already wanna reread these🥹

yes, no, maybe of my 2026 reads!!📚💌

read 31 books so far and these are the ones I would recommend. only 6 were rereads, which is surprising haha.

some standouts this year has been passion project, bad bishop, heated rivalry & nightshade. these have consumed my thoughts from the moment I finished. & daybreak just came out and I’m aching to read it!!

only 2 books I didn’t love, other than that it’s been a great reading year🥹🫶🏼

june wrap up🧸

very much late once again but it’s my account so welp🤸🏽‍♀️

June was very relaxing and time well spent. Hence why I’ve been mia on here. Didn’t take many pictures but I’ve been living in the moment and spending time under the sun🧡

I read 12 books and loved 11!!🙂‍↕️ very proud of myself because this is the most I’ve read in a month in years.

Now that school isn’t taking over my life, I’ve been getting back to doing things I love which is great. Like trying out new recipes, journaling & shopping ofc. Also, I gave my room a makeover & very happy with how it turned out!🥹 I’m thinking of changing the bedding and adding more color to my room.

june reads💫📖

this was the best reading month I’ve had in years!! I truly loved all the books I read (except one).

I’ve been getting better at dnfing more often and not forcing myself to continue just bc it’s popular. my only disappointment was the maddest obsession, which I’m very shocked I didn’t love considering how long I’ve been looking forward to it😭 it is what it is.

but my mood has been all over the place so reading multiple books at once has been fun😅

I’m currently reading nightshade and loving the mystery vibes. also, slowly making my way through reckless. might pick up play along next💜

hi lovelies!! just wanted to join in on this trend since I’ve been loving Olivia’s album💜& I love seeing everyone’s take on it🫶🏼

books don’t normally make me cry, which is weird because I cry all the time lol. and I also prefer sad books with happy endings. so these reads were truly the exception. I cried happy tears, sad tears, angry tears and had the best time!! let me know if we have any in common🙂‍↕️
