“Fear not, dearest friends, hope is here!”

“Let the Angel of the Wastes save you!”

- You want to know about Gavin? -

“Look… I know you want my help with him… but my hands are tied. I keep my keep my nose out of that pompous bastard’s business. Now, now, I’m not saying I like what he’s doing… but it’s complicated. Just… keep out of his way, ok? He’s more dangerous than you know.” -Buddy

“He helped me when no one else would. You don’t get how isolating my vault was. I wanted so badly to help people, but no one would listen. But then he showed up. His voice got attention from people. Then he smiled at me, raised me up and gave me the honors of liberating my people.” -Cherri

“He’s a damn leech. He’ll find the one little thing that you hate about yourself, and make it all you can see. He gets in your head like that. It’s like… he already knows everything about you. Nothing’s hidden from him…” -Bo

Rahhhh finally drew all my faction leaders together, plus an older Bo! Bo is absolutely going through it during this part of the story. Gavin is a very different beast from House, with wider influence and an adoring crowd. Most can’t see what’s lurking under the surface with Gavin, but Bo’s been around too many shitty people to not notice something’s off.

“Don’t worry… your father is only your father until one of you forgets.”

My boy Bo 🥺. I don’t draw him enough. The main picture was inspired by the photo on the second slide, and very last one was drawn by @grack_bryant (Sweet little baby Bo, too young to be ‘Chairman’, so he’s just a ‘Chairbaby’)

As the illegitimate son of Benny, he had a rough time growing up in Freeside, somewhat raised by the Followers until he started getting involved with problematic crowds. Poor kid didn’t find out Benny was his father until a while after his death, and the circumstances of it haunt him. Unfortunately for Bo, he’s just inherited his father’s debts.

Bo often wondered about what Benny would have done if he had known about his existence. Would he have turned Bo away like his mother did? Would he have welcomed him with open arms, save a spot for Bo in the Strip?

How can he miss a man he’s never known?
