some more from Ireland in colder months
we have been coming here my whole life and still I want to capture it every time. I feel like I’m sharing lots of pictures of the same place but I can never get rid of the itch to stop the feeling in time
this time every walk felt like some kind of pilgrimage as we tried to navigate the loss that had lead us home. every crack of sunlight through the sky seemed to hold more meaning, every little stone and shell that crunched under my feet. every direction we chose to step in, every destination tugged at something inside me and when I looked up and around at the world it was different. It looked so much bigger but felt as small as my room. Everything was taller but so much closer, all as real as the insides of my pockets I held on to but so distant I wondered if it was really there at all.
