Thank you all for holding space for us.

& to, in particular:

@crystal_explosion for your deft directing hand. Well poised, know when to praise, when to push... and how to clearly communicate!!

@kitchy_k for knowing how to love me, and making me feel silly, because you say it's so easy.

@muffymanslayer who held up the words like a prayer. To remind us we are holding a torch that's seen many rainy nights. That we are at the front, but we don't fight alone.

And especially tender thanks to @bunny_delux for holding my hands when I was spiraling.

Feeling frozen under the weight of gravity on my body and wondering how the hell I dared be here. When there was so little energy and so much to do.

I didn't need to say anything, she just understood and made space.

It's a labor of love and I'm proud whenever we can redirect the sun to growing our own gardens.

I'm fighting many battles,
But I need to remember those moments that remind me
What winning looks like. by @sadie.switch

My heart is still so happy. We've waited a while to bring this act out of the hat, @kitchy_k and I. She is my songstress soul mate.

🌹 PERFORMER SPOTLIGHT! 🌹

Today is the day! We were all up late last night bedecking and bedazzling, putting the finishing touches on costumes, props, and playlists, and we are ready to celebrate with you tonight! We get to feature our final duet today, so take a look and then grab your tickets if you haven’t already, there are only a few left!

❤️‍🔥

Kitchy K! is your Sultry Siren of Spokane burlesque! A powerhouse performer in a perky package, Kitchy K is the jezebel of juxtoposition. As a Queen of Camp and a volumptious vamp, she loves to have playful performances with a hint of deviousness. With so many talents and angles, K can keep you turning around all night and never figure out where you’re going! Whether it be flirting, laughs, singing or sass...K brings it all with sexy shimmer. All in all, Kitchy K! is your one stop shop for all things that twinkle and pop!

Sadie Switch: This wily one is a preposterous prism of possibilities ~ Alt educator, sonic sorceress, drag deviant! You’ll forever find her tuning a turn of phrase, bellowing ballads with her bestie, or busting buns behind the scenes to create evocative events. Warmly welcome the scintillating Sadie Switch!

Mx Kitch picked me up from the train station at nearly 2am Wednesday. It's late, we're both tired, and there's much more to do.

She's giggling and telling me a funny story about medical access issues. It's truly tragic, but her quirky take has me rollin'. Long story short, she spent days and hours running back and forth like scooby doo crew and still ended up off her much needed meds.

"Yeah, so now I have $1000 less dollars, and I had hard stop from the meds you're supposed to titrate off of, but hey I'm not dead! Just extra touched in the head"

"You said it was L-----e you're taking?"

"Yeah. That and m---e but I told the psych I can rawdawg my add for a while. They finally got the scrip in but then i failed to pick it up in time because they had to fax-"

"😃😀🙂"

"....wut? 🤨"

"I've got a BUNCH of that RIGHT HERE! I panicked about losing access to my meds so I stopped taking them so I can hoard a supply!!"

I almost didn't make this show, as I was slated to have a grippy sock vacation. Sometimes I feel like I will never be able to prioritize art and because of that I should stand back and leave it to those who can.

But this beautiful brainmelty broad keeps making me think somehow I can do it.

No one ever sees how hard she fights just to keep standing, just to keep being herself. Doing what she loves.

I'm inspired and proud and so very excited for everything yet to come. by @sadie.switch

@kitchy_k is more than a bestie to me.

She is a Life Partner of mine, as much as any of my romantic partners.

We discovered this by trial and error, as we realized we had to include each other in new partner consent negotiations. 😁😆

She was here first. Here's where we stand. Now we know to let them know.

All of the new love we find builds on the foundations of what we learned together.

It's messy, it's strange, it's real!

We are honored to show and sing our act this Saturday at @berserkspokane for Here Comes the Pride with the vivacious vixens of the @vaudevillainsspokane

It'll be highs and lows of love where it lives.
Every day,
sad or sore
