At the end of August, I’ll be starting senior year and this will all feel like a fever dream. Never could I have imagined how deeply the GSP program would affect me and my future. For the people who don’t know, “community” is a word you hear everyday here. While it sounds cookie-cutter and obvious, it is the truest possible word to describe this program. The people truly make the place at GSP. Whether it was my General Studies- learning about the different beauties of art, or whether it was my Focus Area- learning about human emotions and how to understand the brain. In the end, every single person in these classes and around me changed me and challenged me to be a better person. I would also like to extend my gratitude to the GSPals, my truest and closest friends throughout these 5 weeks. I could never say enough words to this group to commemorate how I feel. No words would ever be enough to show my love. You guys mean the world to me and really shaped my experience here at GSP. To summarize what Adam said, the rain is not what matters in the situation but it’s who’s in the rain with you. GSP consisted of a lot of rain, literally and figuratively, but the GSPeople made the rain invisible. I’ll love you forever, GSP. by @sadiembr
