Going into postpartum this time, I realized how easy it would have been to let my past experiences make me afraid of what was ahead. I knew it could be hard. I knew there would be moments that stretched me. But I also knew I didn’t want to spend this season waiting for something to go wrong. Postpartum may look different than you imagined, and some days may feel heavier than others, but different doesn’t mean scary, and hard doesn’t mean you’re failing. I’m learning to take it one day at a time, give myself grace, ask for help, and trust that God is with me through every single step. 🤍

I’m creating a little postpartum ‘what I wish I knew’ guide, & I can’t wait to share it with you.

What a journey it has been with you and three babies. I have learned so much along the way. At times, you have been incredibly beautiful, and at others, you’ve brought me some of my darkest moments.

You’ve taught me to never stop fighting or believing in myself. To ask for help. To lean on the resources and support around me. To give myself grace when things don’t look the way I imagined they would.

You have made me a stronger person and a stronger mother, and for that, I am grateful.

I’m not exactly sure how I’m going to do it, but I’m determined to make a change for our moms & their postpartum journey. To provide them with the support & resources they need to navigate the ups & downs, & not feel like they are doing it on their own.
