Pretty Vicious by Lexi Davis was an obvious ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for me!

Laurel starts off as a quiet, hide in the shadows type of girl. Riddled with severe past trauma and her father’s drinking issues, she takes summer classes on top of working a pizza delivery job, even if she is put in shady towns and constantly surrounded by shady people. She comes across Carrson covered in blood, surrounded by fellow members. What she came across was not a simple fraternity house she was delivering pizza too but a secret society.

Their tension was everything. Carrson had me swooning. He was possessive, cold, and ruthless, but also gentle and kind. He is the perfect example of what every bookish girlie is looking for in their MMC.

The world building was crazy good. The Order is dark and old in its ways. Laurel constantly challenges the system, and while us as the reader sees the obvious flaws in the Order, the brothers and sisters don’t see the issues. This is all they know, and it was portrayed amazingly.

I read this entire book in less than 24 hours and cannot wait to read book 2 after that cliffhanger. I beg for you all to go check out this series and author @authorlexidavis !

Ashen Wings by @authordlhoupt !! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you so much D.L. Houpt, for the advanced copy of Ashen Wings! 💕 It’s available September 15th 2026 !! Make sure to check it out ! ✨

Ashen Wings is a high stakes Romantasy filled with betrayals, forced proximity, and overcoming trauma all wrapped up with dragons! Starring a troubled badass FMC Nova alongside a morally gray shadow daddy Jace! Nova had that angsty anger that I felt deeply, and her past spoke to me greatly. While Jace had that brooding possessiveness we all swoon for in a MMC. Oh and did I mention he calls her Starling? Their banter had me kicking my feet and giggling. This book was filled with yearning and tension galore, and the payoff was definitely worth it! The ending had me shocked and just filled with that peace only feminine rage can bring you. I cannot wait for book two!
