📣 Family Orientation Days are next week!

Families with participants enrolled in our Footskills or REC programs are required to attend a mandatory orientation session. We will be providing important information about our upcoming season, so please join us!

The FIFA World Cup 2026™ may be over, but the opportunity to make an impact through soccer is just beginning. ⚽💙

At Safe-Hub, we believe soccer is about far more than the game. Whether you’re stepping onto the field as a coach or a participant, our programs are designed to help young people build confidence, resilience, leadership, and a sense of belonging through sport. 🍂

Registration for the 2026–2027 season is now open! We’re excited to welcome both new and returning participants for another year of learning, growth, and community. We’re also looking for passionate coaches who want to use soccer as a vehicle for youth development.

Kirweah, Boimah, Remi, and Romney are going on years 5 and 6 of playing soccer at Safe-Hub. What an incredible ride it’s been, learning, trying new things, and winning & losing together— all with their brothers by their side! ✨🧡

Last weekend, Youth Civic Challenge had the opportunity to work with the PlayMakers at @safehub_philly for a hands-on LEGO® Serious Play® workshop focused on youth leadership, creativity, and community change. 🧱🙌

Through building, sharing, and conversation, the PlayMakers explored their superpowers, their values, the things they care about in their communities, and the role they can play as changemakers.

We loved working with this group of young leaders and hearing their ideas, perspectives, and vision for their communities. Thank you, @safehub_philly , for having us! 💡👏 taken in Safe-Hub Philadelphia by @safehub_philly

Last Saturday, we started the first day of programs for the 26-27 season with our FUNdamentals and PlayMaker groups!! ⚽️✨

Safe-Hub’s new PlayMaker cohort spent the afternoon with @youthcivicchallenge for a hands-on workshop using the @lego Serious Play method! 🧩✨

Through imaginative models and storytelling, our PlayMakers explored the connections between who they are, what they value, and the change they want to create in their community and beyond. 🧡

We’re so excited to see all of our returning and new players on and off the field this season! 🏙️✨

1.. 2.. 3.. Team! ⚽️🩵

Last week, new and returning coaches came together for coach training to get ready for another season at Safe-Hub! From icebreakers and games, learning about equipment, and conversations about supporting players technically and emotionally, our coaches spent the week learning what it really means to create a positive team environment. 🙌

We also had a gallery walk about what our SWEAT values mean on and off the field, how it looks during practice, and identifying the coachable moments! ✨

Now it’s time to take everything they learned onto the field. Let’s get this season started! 🔥⚽️ We’ll see you next week!!
