📢We're Hiring!📢 ABOUT US... The Lock & Quay is Liverpool City Region's only community-owned pub. You'll be part of a small, friendly team where flexibility, initiative and teamwork are essential. WHY JOIN US? Working at the Lock & Quay isn't just another hospitality job. You'll help deliver one of the UK's most exciting community-owned venues, supporting festivals, live music, environmental projects and community activities that make a genuine difference to people's lives. Every shift contributes to SAFE Regeneration's mission of helping people connect, build confidence and shape stronger communities. 🎉 WHY WOULD YOU STAY AT THE LOCK & QUAY? Because when you're hosting a party, the last thing you want to worry about is how everyone's getting home! Whether it's a birthday, anniversary, engagement party, family celebration, reunion or a wedding, our marquee and gardens have become a favourite place for people to celebrate life's big moments. And when our accommodation opens, it'll make those celebrations even easier... 🏡 Invite friends and family who don't live local! 🍻 Enjoy the party without watching the clock (no missing your train!) 🚕 No expensive taxis home 🎁 Leave the decorations, gifts and presents until the morning Instead of squeezing everything into a few hours, you'll be able to turn your celebration into a whole weekend. 🍳Relax over a lovely Lock Breakfast with your guests. To secure the pub’s future, we are delivering a £1 million refurbishment project, helping make the venue more sustainable while continuing to grow Bootle as the destination the community has worked hard to create. Scaffolding is up & works starting! But we need YOUR help to raise an extra £30,000 for fixtures and fittings! Link in Bio! Every donation - big or small - helps protect a place that belongs to the community and everything it delivers for Bootle. Help us keep the doors open for the next 10 years and beyond.
