Been going a little crazy with my mom suddenly falling and being brain dead and having to deal with my father be on his high horse. When I rushed to the hospital to and they couldn't take us back... I was praying to hanayo to help keep her safe. Which sounds absolutely crazy but When I used to play school idol festival, I used to pray for her cards to appear out of the gacha boxes, and I think I reached for her cause it was all I could think to do. I think that was the only time in my life I've genuinely felt religious brain chemistry. I called on her and I felt a sparkle in my brain... that I knew wasnt enough. I knew she hadn't been breathing and I knew how long it took for paramedics to get to her, and we had heard a soft code for her room. She ended up having basically a flat line on her eeg later that week.

While I've been working through things, I've been making jokes about going anime catholic (which is kinda morbid considering the pope died and my mom fell in the same 24 hr period.) But long story long, couldn't sleep tonight and made a muse hanayo rosary. Mom supported me being myself and making things that bring joy, and I think she'd think its funny. She made many of my love live cosplays, and was so talented.

I changed the number of beads in the "decades" to 9, the same as the number of members as the legendary school idol group μ's. The starting beads are arranged so I can do the count up 1 through 9 and a music start and then sing one of the songs split up into 50 sections. I know thats not how rosaries work but like I wanted something I could count with to calm down. With how much im having to take on, its provided a new lense to look at #bokuhika as I have to find strength to take care of my family, since the hanayo keychain is her bokuhika outfit.

May continue bringing life to my... abstract musings (hahah μ'sings) about how idol warship directly mirrors religious warship in certain ways through future works.

Drew this over the course of several months, I don’t know if I’m really done with it but I drew it so I could turn off layers of hypothetical fabric and eventually make something similar.
