Half a decade of ideas in snippets. 🎥

So grateful for the opportunity to create and work with such talents over the last 5 years. Each project holds a special place in my heart. Seeing it all together reminds me of the power of collaboration and exploration.

My deepest thanks to the artists who have been part of this path:

Ashley Affolter, James Pett, Sandor Petrovics, Fanni Bogáti, Filipe Rettore & Jacqueline Ritter from Unity Dance Principals, ex-students of Hungarian Dance University, Zoran Varga, Samuel Miksa Garami.

In the era where dance can be fun. 🎉
Special thanks to the choreographers who gave me space to play and explore my inner gorilla doing ballet, burnt out accountant, pretty croupier or white-collar gentleman and the iconic politician acting cool.

Beautiful and crazy works by @emesey_nagy @mazedance.co - OCD-Ordinary Catastrophic Day (2023) The disposable man (2022)

‘SUP friends!

We’re proud to present you ASH and ZSOFÍA who will be performing their site specific dance duo SILT at this year’s edition. 🌀

🎭 ABOUT THE DUET
SILT explores the delicate space between holding on and letting go, where closeness always carries the risk of loss. The piece reflects on how bodies connect: how we listen, adapt, and stay present with one another in moments of shift and transition.

🪩 ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Ashley Affolter is a Dutch dancer who graduated from the Academy of Theatre and Dance in Amsterdam. She trained at École des Sables in Senegal and worked with Ivgi & Greben, KORZO, Hangtho and Holland Opera. Since 2025, she has danced with MiR Dance Company, now TanzGelsenkirchen.

Zsófia Safranka-Peti is a Hungarian dancer and choreographer with a background in contemporary dance. She has worked with leading companies, choreographers internationally and participated in several festivals, competitions with her own works.
Since 2023, she has been a dance artist with MiR Dance Company, now TanzGelsenkirchen in Germany.

Zsófi and Ash began collaborating and exploring movement research together about two years ago. Since then, they have been invited to perform at several festivals.
Driven by a shared curiosity for physical exploration and artistic boundaries, they continue to create works that aim to engage and connect with audiences worldwide.

❤️‍🔥 Introducing Platform 14 artists:

Ashley Affolter & Zsófia Safranka-Peti (NL/HU) - “SILT”

“SILT” unfolds as an improvisation in which presence becomes the primary material. Two bodies move within a shared field of gravity, touch, and resistance, sensing rather than declaring their relations — forms emerging and dissolving like sediment in suspension, as if identity were something that gathers slowly through contact, pressure, and time. The space between the performers thickens and thins, holding traces of meeting, separation, and return, suggesting cellular division, merging, and the quiet struggle between coexistence and dominance. SILT lingers in the threshold where holding becomes release, inviting a heightened awareness of being-with — how bodies listen, adapt, and remain present to one another in the moment of change.

Choreography & Performance: Ashley Affolter & Zsófia Safranka-Peti
