THE CHARACTER CROSSOVER | MAY 13 11AM-4PM | A CHARITY FIELD DAY EVENT

Tiffany & I (@sage.annual) are collaborating with @welcometothemaskerade & @es.chaca to throw a charity field day event this Saturday.

There’ll be field day games, food, care packages for the winning team 👀

& just a fun time outside to connect with people & feel the carefree nostalgic energy of field days from our childhood.

ALL proceeds will go to @leadwithlovechi. It’s a day to be a kid, for the kids 🫶. REGISTER WITH LINK IN BIO!

ANOTHER DAY TO BE A KID, FOR THE KIDS! DONATE TO PARTICIPATE THROUGH THE LINK IN THE BIO!

Hey guys, we’re collaborating with @welcometothemaskerade and @es.chaca to bring a nostalgic day of outdoor games, team challenges and community for a good cause! And kick off your summer 2k23 with the Crossover Classic of the Ages!! All entry donations will go to @leadwithlovechi 🤍

SCHEDULE (subject to change):

11:00am-12:00pm — Registration
12:00pm-12:15pm — Warmup with Coach Chaca
12:15pm-2:00pm — Outdoor games part 1 (Scavenger hunt, relay races, wheelbarrow races, dodgeball)
2:00pm-2:30pm — Lunch
2:30pm-3:00pm — Brain Games
3:00pm-4:00pm — Outdoor games part 2 (Tug-of-war, capture the flag, obstacle course)

THE RELEASE EVENT | DEBUT ISSUE WINTER ‘23

we were sitting in grant park on a summer day in 2021 reflecting on how important the chicago dance community has been to our lives, and we came up with a crazy idea of documenting the history we’re part of every day. we had our individual passions for writing and graphic design and just went for it.

no one told us how to make a magazine, we just wanted to make something we were proud of. and we had no idea that our attempt at documenting history would create history in itself.

our only goal with SAGE was to bring people together, and that’s exactly what we did. but, when we say that none of this was possible without all of you, we really mean it.

LOOKING FOR ARTISTS TO DISPLAY THEIR WORK AT OUR RELEASE EVENT!

We’d love for our event to be a space for you to share your art (VISUAL art: paintings, photography, sculpture etc). If you’re interested or know someone that is, a Google Form is in our bio.

Over the past year and a half, we’ve documented the history made in our community and connected with many artists that inspire us to create not only a keepsake, but a resource to further your dance education from Chicago artists.

We’re so excited to finally share this with everyone at our release party on Saturday, March 4th! Come dance, hang out, view art, support local vendors, & just have a good time.

SAGE is a print-only magazine, so make sure to grab yourself a copy!

This week, we got something special for y’all 😮‍💨 We will be co-hosting this weeks session with @sage.annual 🤞🏽

“SAGE is a magazine about the Chicago dance community that documents the memories we make at events like In the Lab.
