I’m so grateful that I had the opportunity this week to give out water filters to people without clean water and more importantly spread the Gospel to them.

This trip has taught me a lot of things spiritually but also a lot about myself. I’ve changed my perspective on life, opened my heart, and I have been given a new purpose. Every house we went into and every conversation we had was so intentional, and it truly showed me how present God is. He is the light in the darkness. Seeing how happy these people that had absolutely nothing was a reminder to always seek gratitude. The little things we take for granted are someone else’s dreams. It was so powerful to watch God work through all of us this week and change people’s lives. I’m leaving this week with a deeper faith and a clearer understanding of the importance of having Jesus in your heart.
