People in recovery walk a hard road...

80,000 people die of overdose every year in America. Those who don't only survive because they found a community of people willing to show up when they're needed. 🫂

The Unspoken Word is a space dedicated to honoring the memory of those we've lost to the disease of addiction & arming the community with the resources, knowledge, & connection we need to keep from adding any more names to that list. 🕯️

💥SO JOIN US ON AUGUST 29TH💥

@haywoodfamous For art, music, & poetry for the friends, family, & neighbors we've lost along the way.

🎤 Open Mic 8:00pm - Whenever 🤷‍♂️

Well, it only took me a month and a half 🤣 but happy to finally share pics & vids from the Songs for Hope house show at the Peach Pit in early June!!! I had hoped to source photos/videos of all performers (sorry Aaron!!) but my phone was on its last legs of both battery and memory and it turned out nobody else got any, either! Proof of everyone having a good time being there, I'd say!!

This was such a sweet and silly and tender and ridiculous show. Huge shout-out again to Julia for hosting and thank you to everyone who came out!!! I hope we all see you again! 🫶🏻

Errrrbody else is tagged, but if you wanna find Aaron Price's music, here's the best link! https://aaronprice1.bandcamp.com/album/voyager taken in Asheville, North Carolina by @sagecrispy

merch shirts!!!!!!!!! lino cut & block printed by the one & only @juliapeach_art 🍑🎨 ty so much Julia!

these will be AT MY PARTY (& future shows until they sell out)! each one is completely unique - we thrifted soft cozy shirts at goodwill instead of going through a supplier, which makes them both eco-friendly AND stylish. i think we have like 20?? if you come to my thingy & get one i will sign it for you 💋

seriously, i can’t wait. there will be incredible people, folkin’ good music, nom noms, & possibly a bonfire if weather allows. i am so lucky i get to turn 34 surrounded by such a loving & talented community. y’all come! 🖤🖤🖤 taken in Candler, North Carolina by @sagecrispy
